Penny stood by the sidelines watching the Adkins lawyers and Darlington Adkins carry Osvaldo away. He didn't look at her, not even a side glance or a goodbye. Osvaldo had willingly asked her to stay.
She should be happy right?
She should be glad her father has shielded her from his madness. From his danger.
She was so used to seeing him act normal that she had forgotten he was mad. That he's dangerous. He could harm her at any time.
He had done it before.
