Chapter 58 - Chapter 58: Rise of the Legendary Beast

Four people stood, their bodies showing signs of recovery, smiling as they saw the battle approaching its end.

They looked at the exhausted beast, and at the other team that was still fighting fiercely.

The archer girl sighed with relief and said:

"Finally, it's over. I just want to go back for a bath and some rest."

The assassin replied sarcastically:

"Is that all you think about?! We've achieved something huge—we're the first two teams to fight a legendary beast! We'll become famous, and this battle will be uploaded on the site and get tons of views."

The tank spoke:

"It's really great that the AI's metallic orb is here, watching, analyzing, and recording the battle. Most importantly, it's tracking each person's contribution and effort for rewards."

The leader, who looked a little handsome, replied:

"Exactly. We need to make sure we get our points and know everyone's contributions for rewards and compensation. And also… we should hire someone for editing. The video has to look amazing—for my fans."

The assassin got annoyed, glaring at him as if he wanted to kill him:

"Leader! If you mention that again, I'll fight you myself. Don't think just because you're handsome and have a bunch of fangirls that you can annoy us in every battle!"

The leader laughed, enjoying teasing his friend:

"Sorry, I won't do it again. And besides—you're handsome too, so don't be so jealous or spiteful."

The assassin clenched his teeth in shock:

"I think we need to replace this leader… he's on his way to a mental hospital—or some hospital at least."

The whole team laughed together, feeling happy.

---

Meanwhile, on the other side…

The second team still fought the beast, conserving their energy and keeping full focus.

The Yeti, however, noticed that these new fighters had already learned his style, attacking without giving him any opening.

The team heard the laughter of the first group. One of them muttered:

"Are those people trying to provoke the beast? Or do they just not care about our feelings?"

Their leader smiled and replied:

"It doesn't matter. What matters is we focus, fight well, and boost our contribution points. We're the second team, and even though we're fighting skillfully, the first team already got ahead of us. We only knew how to deal with the Yeti because of them—while they fought blindly. So their contribution points are higher than ours."

He dodged the Yeti's punch, spotted an opening, and thrust his spear into the beast's chest, piercing it deeply.

The Yeti thought of stomping the ground to create shockwaves and escape, but one teammate smirked, skillfully using his iron chains to grab the beast's leg and pull him down, making him lose balance and fall.

The second team's tank seized the chance, rushing to the wounded chest. He leapt, slamming his shield with full force into the gaping wound, shattering the Yeti's chest.

The beast howled in agony, rage and hatred blazing in his eyes.

But before he could act, the archer fired an arrow straight into his eye.

The Yeti stood trembling, vision fading from one eye, realizing that poison coated the arrow. His body weakened, staggering uncontrollably. He saw the smiling fighters in front of him… then looked beyond, spotting the first team laughing and enjoying themselves.

He fell to his knees, body no longer under his control. His fading vision told him—he didn't have much time left. Death was near.

---

The first team walked over smiling, shaking hands with the second team.

The leaders laughed together, and the first leader said:

"It was tough, but worth it. The beast's body and mind aren't too damaged. I think the Shamans will pay a lot to compensate us—this creature is crucial for their research."

The assassin, standing beside the second team's archer (clearly close to her), added:

"Yeah, that's true. I couldn't believe the Shamans actually created and developed new classes. The first: Familiar Summoner. The second: Familiar User. Both are incredibly strong. Thanks to them, they defeated the Immortal Trainees. And there are rumors they're working on a third—and strongest—class. They really are smart and powerful."

The second team's archer commented:

"That's because they were the first to submit to the Egyptians and learn from them, instead of being arrogant like the Immortal Trainees or the Mages. Even the Mages realized this quickly and accepted the truth. Now, because of all this, the Golden Generation has become sharper and more focused. Honestly, I wish I could be part of the academy's first Golden Generation."

Both teams sighed, regretting their older age and the fact they'd never get the chance to be part of the Golden Generation.

The second team's leader noticed this and quickly changed the subject:

"Alright, enough of that talk. It doesn't matter now. The metallic orb already sent the signal to the shipping company and the Haka Users' Alliance to collect this beast. All we have to do is wait and see what our next mission will be."

The first leader nodded:

"We've also been assigned another mission by the AI, with another team. We need to be there in three days."

Both teams sat down to rest, guarding the beast's body until the Alliance arrived.

---

They looked at the corpse of the legendary Yeti. Even in death, his scarred body—covered with cuts from swords, arrows, daggers, and chains—showed he had died like a fierce beast with honor.

But inside, his one remaining eye still stared at them, even as his heartbeat slowed.

A simple question echoed within him—yet it was the hardest of all:

"Why?"

"I didn't do anything… I just woke up not long ago…"

He remembered his tribe, the longing for them, and the loneliness. He remembered how isolated he was when the Mother Haka energy vanished from the world—how his kin died one by one, until he was the last Yeti before freezing to death. But when Haka returned, it gave him life again, strength again. He was happy, guarding his homeland, hoping his kin might return too.

But… why?

As his life flashed before him and his eyes slowly closed, his mind refused to surrender. He felt himself receiving a new energy—the energy of "Ba."

It didn't need to be terrifying or dramatic; sometimes a single thought, a single question, was enough for a legendary beast to ascend.

In a moment, his mind sharpened, his body healed rapidly. Vitality surged back. Within minutes, he was fully restored—no, stronger. He had ascended to a higher level!

The two teams trembled in fear as they saw the beast's aura flare back with arrogance. In an instant, he lunged at the chain-user, knowing he was the most dangerous opponent—the one who could bind him.

At that very moment, one of the leaders shouted at the metallic orb:

"We need reinforcements!"

The orb sent out a warning signal, and within seconds, two other powerful teams were chosen—among the strongest and closest.

Two figures from each team received the call. Their auras radiated overwhelming might, surpassing even the beast's. They smirked confidently, each boarding their jet at supersonic speed, their teams with them, heading straight to the battlefield.

The Yeti sensed the powerful auras rushing toward him, realizing this time his death was inevitable.

Yet his eyes stayed sharp, as if declaring:

"I will not fear."
