Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: Pattern-Breaking Skill

Abdullah repeated the system's words:

> "No enlightenment or luck can create a legendary-level skill of the Growth type?"

Then he added:

"Well, if you put it that way, you're right—that's strange. But strange things never hold the full truth. Just hours ago, I was on the brink of death, and now here I am, standing before you among the ranks of the strong."

The system replied:

> [No, child, nothing here is truly strange. You're simply interpreting things through your human mind. But if you think deeply, you'll find that everything makes sense… though that's only if we think with logic. And even logic has its opposite.]

Abdullah, still confused, asked:

"So what should I do? Should I fight these creatures or just ignore them? There are other strong people who could save humanity without me.

And even if I'm Egyptian, there are plenty of Egyptians who can protect Egypt.

My family too—each of them has a different personality and life, and they're strong as well… so do they really need me to protect them?"

He paused briefly, then continued:

"I feel lost… Even if I'm the protagonist of some story, what's the point? Do I actually have a goal I want, or am I just following the plot?

As Set said, my freedom will probably be my biggest problem."

The system looked at him, listening with calm attention, then said:

> [Are you beginning to realize now the problem most humans face…? Not understanding their own lives.]

> [Even if you had the greatest inheritance and the strongest power, that wouldn't guarantee happiness. All humans have incredible potential, but in the end, how many truly show it? You're no exception… but the question is—will you remain standing in place?]

With determination, Abdullah replied:

"No, I won't stand still. Even if I don't know my goal yet, I'll take responsibility for my fate and my inheritance. That's the one thing I can do right now."

The system gave a faint smile and said:

> [It won't be exciting that way… but that's the reality. Still, don't lose hope. As long as you're with me, I'll teach you and help you on this journey whose end will bring you what's destined for you.]

Then it added:

> [Alright, but you haven't answered my question… how did you learn this skill?]

Abdullah sighed and began:

"Since I was young, my father trained me in combat and played with me. I was an ordinary child in a somewhat ordinary family, but my father trained me seriously. I started working early to gain experience, learned how to deal with people, and noticed that certain patterns—if followed—could win me a customer's heart… and so on.

I also learned how to stand up for myself against co-workers or my boss. I used to get into fights as a kid, play a lot, and was popular and social. I wasn't special in anything, but my father kept teaching me martial arts—not advanced ones, just the kind you'd find at any sports club—and made me lift weights to build my body.

Still, I noticed that when I followed certain patterns, I could do things easily, and my body would grow stronger quickly. I didn't think much of it at the time—just assumed I was smart.

All of this coincided with the beginning of everything—the Energy Extraction Project. When it failed, and Heka energy emerged from the pyramid, I was nearly twelve years old.

You might wonder how I did all this at eleven? Well, I looked good for my age, so they sent me to deal with customers. I played and fought with other kids, dealt with adults who tried to mock me, and learned how to handle them.

These experiences piled up… along with my sense for patterns.

When the Heka System began spreading in Egypt and worldwide, over the next seven years I advanced rapidly, becoming a combat prodigy. My body adapted and grew stronger quickly, letting me surpass levels with ease.

Since the sword was the most common weapon, I trained in it until I became a sword genius. No sword instructor in the area could teach me anything new.

By the first year of high school, I had reached level eight, and many thought I'd be the youngest to enter the Sinai Global Academy. But that didn't happen… because level eight is Discover and Develop Your Talent.

I thought it would be easy since my talent was in swordsmanship, but now I know my true talent was Weapon Master. Since I didn't know that back then, no matter how much I trained with a sword, I couldn't break through.

A coach advised me to try another weapon, so I picked up the spear. I learned it quickly thanks to my sword skills and pattern sense. Still, I couldn't advance.

I began training with every weapon I could find. Each one was different, but because of my ability to feel patterns, it took me less than three months to master any weapon. In three years, I'd mastered every weapon—even firearms— but still nothing, Icouldn't move the next level.

I didn't give up. While training, I felt the patterns again, but this time I didn't ignore them. I began asking: why must a sword's only purpose be to cut or kill? Why, when facing a spear, must I dodge to protect myself?

What if I broke that pattern? If a sword came to stab me, why not change the pattern so that instead of killing me, the blade breaks—and I kill the opponent?

That's how I began breaking every pattern and reshaping them however I wanted. That's how I created the skill: Pattern Breaker. Whatever a weapon's natural pattern is, I can alter it—a sharp blade can become soft, and so on.

If I'd discovered my Weapon Master talent earlier, it wouldn't have taken this long.

That's the story."

The system, listening carefully, said:

> [Well… strangely enough, that does make sense.]

Abdullah then asked:

"So, what is this Body Growth talent?"

The system, with a tone of disinterest, answered:

> [It's the talent that made Set cursed… and sterile as well.]

Abdullah replied :

"Can I return it? I don't think I really need it… Where's the delete button?"

As for Islam, which I mention: It's a part of my identity and heritage, and I take pride in it. But I'm not pressuring you to embrace it. Whether you're atheist, devout, or anything in between—we're all here to share this story.

You don't have to convert. This is your life.
