Chapter 105 - Chapter 105 : Clash Of The Titans 4

Just beyond the field dungeons surrounding Four Stars Academy...

Southwest from Taltaba Federation...

An encampment of hundreds of Zengas were gathered just outside the Academy's wards.

Dementor stood before the army Corinth had given he and his brothers to command. He hated that he couldn't just take the Zengas and attack the Brandish Kingdom. Corinth had made sure to failsafe it such that if he so intended on that the Zengas would instantly turn on he and his brothers.

He was stronger now, by human standards his brothers were at least at the peak of Denkei he could feel himself already at base Henkei.

But even then they couldn't take on the five hundred Zengas all at the base of Denkei. It was suicide.

To be honest he even pitied the Zengas agtet all they were just like them, children stolen from their families and used as experiments except unlike he and his brothers that had evolved and attained sentience they had lost all forms of independent thinking. They were simply mindly drones.

Just then Nikaiju, tall and grotesque, with monstrous crab-pincers for arms and four squid-like limbs for feet, joined him at the cliff over which Dementor watched his army.

"Dementor–sama we have finished the structuring, Sankaiju and Yonkaiju are waiting for your instructions down below" Nikaiju said with a bow to which Dementor frowned.

"Good. We will begin as soon as word arrives from Corinth. Also I have told you not to call me master, I am your brother not your master". Dementor cried.

Nikaiju smile cheesily but said nothing.

Just then Dementor felt a shift in the temperature of the area. He wasn't the only one, Nikaiju got on the alert and looked around trying to find the source while Sankaiju and Yonkaiju leaped up to where Dementor and Nikaiju stood.

"Did you guys feel that?" Sankaiju, a smaller cloaked figure stepped forward. He wore a gray coat which was smeared with blood, his hood shadowing a face always half-grinning.

"Someone strong is coming!"

"Stronger than you brother?" Yonkaiju, a massive brute with arms that could crush tons.

"Possibly. Stay here Nikaiju and Yonkaiju, Sankaiju come with me" Dementor said and without waiting for a response leaped towards the direction of the overwhelming force he'd felt.

Earlier he said, the person who'd just appeared was only possibly stronger but that was a lie he'd told to settle their nerves, he was certain of something. That person was at least peak of Henkei if not already at the Legend form.

Before long they reached a lone figure who walked towards Four Stars Academy. His every step tore trenches into the earth and the breath from his nostril shingled the very air. He moved with a raw unfiltered energy like even he couldn't control his energy levels.

At a glance Dementor knew it wasn't Kime or any of the other legends, they had stpnt too long in that league of power that they were able to control the relentless and endless power they harboured. This was a different legend. A new one.

And if they couldn't stop his approach the other legends ceold sense him. If that happened they'd be caught up in the midst of a fight able to wreck the entire planet.

Southern Entrance To The Kendo Dungeon

Korimer for one knew the true purpose of the tournament was to show the abilities of the select trainees helping them build connections with other nationalities and powers so once they were done with their studies it'd be easier to find employment.

As such he knew it was best to show off he also knew he had to pick his fights. This was something he figured all the aces of their respective academies knew. He knew Kutote was most likely in trouble, the ace of Blooms Academy was headed his way after all.

Kutote was strong. Definitely one of the strongest first year trainees and given time he knew he might reach his level of not surpass him. But it was too early. The monster approaching was not someone he'd be able to defeat.

Heck. He wasn't even sure he would be able to defeat him easily. He'd heard rumors of the youngest swordmaster of the East. It was said he became one at 17. He was the youngest swordmaster ever and he'd had two years extra to train. There were rumors he was soon to become a swordsaint.

Korimer smiled with a mad look in his eyes. He'd never been one to run from a fight. If he really was strong he wanted to see for himself and watch as all his confidence was shattered.

Meris Veyna felt the surge of SE, so did all the instructors who were gathered there. A fight breaking out here would not be good no matter how it was spun, in the presence of three of the most important figure of three rulers of major nations it would sell wrong on Four Stars Academy and as such on Kime.

And though she had no reason to really care, her interactions with Pwain earlier had made her curious of the underlying events taking place. He instincts told her something was wrong, she just didn't know what.

She quickly went to the heat of things to difuse them, she grabbed Pwain's arm applying pressure slightly to get him to relax his aura. She was actually surprised he had that much depth, it had taken all of her willpower to not freeze due to sheer furiousity of his aura.

Absolam also suppressed his aura as he noticed Corinth's cold stare at him, it seemed to tell him not to make this escalate. For the sake of the plan he relented.

"Sorry gentlemen, let me borrow him for a moment" Meris Veyna said as she pulled Pwain away.

"No problem, miss?"

"Veyna. Meris Veyna"

Corinth smiled at the name and did a mock bow watching as try left. She had to hold herself from knocking his teeth in. The way he smiled creeped her out.

Once they were out of earshot she turned around and her former warm face turned cold.

"Thanks for holding me back—"

"What was that? What is going on here! You better tell me or I'm—"

"Hold on. I'll tell you everything"
