Frisk stepped through the doors of the throne room and faced Asgore. The battle that should have been inevitable began with sorrow and silence. But as mercy hovered in the air, a flower bloomed in the centre of it all.
Flowey.
With a wicked grin, he struck. The souls screamed. Reality shattered.
Frisk was pulled into a void of flashing colours, screams, and distortion. It was chaos—time unwound, save files scattered, and the very fabric of the Underground twisted.
Omega Flowey.
The monstrous, mechanical form rose with a thousand vines and screens, laughing in distorted tones.
"You IDIOT," he snarled. "Did you really think you could beat me? I control the timeline now!"
Frisk died.
And came back.
Again.
And again.
Through sheer determination, through every attack, Frisk held on. And through that struggle, the voices of the souls—six others—joined Frisk, granting strength. Together, they broke the machine apart.
Flowey reverted—small, weak, trembling.
Frisk spared him.
Again.
And something… changed.
Toriel arrived.
Then Sans.
Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, Mettaton.
Each one stepped forward, offering peace. Offering a way forward.
Asgore lowered his trident.
Frisk reached for the barrier.
Asgore joined them.
Light broke through. The barrier shattered.
Freedom.
And yet, Frisk turned back.
There was one place left to go. A secret door beneath the throne. A path hidden in roots and memory.
The true lab.
Frisk moved through the winding halls, past old screens, past broken dreams. In the deepest chamber, bathed in blue light, they found a garden. A bed of golden flowers.
And in it… Flowey.
No. Asriel.
The boy from long ago.
He stood there, wearing his old sweater, his voice breaking.
"I remember now… everything."
Chara floated closer. Her gaze locked with his.
"I became Flowey. I lost my soul. I couldn't feel anything. I tried to understand why… why I felt nothing, even when I did horrible things."
Frisk said nothing.
"But then you came. And you… you made me feel again."
He looked up, tears in his eyes.
"I don't deserve forgiveness. But I… I'm so sorry."
He paused.
"I have to let go. Of everything. So you can live your life."
He smiled, soft and bittersweet.
"I'll break the barrier for you. Even if it means I'll disappear."
He turned to Chara. "Goodbye… my best friend."
And to Frisk. "Take care of them. Everyone."
The world faded.
