Chapter 177 - OPRJ: Chapter 177

Carina, using ropes and her skills, finally climbed onto the Noah's Ark's deck. Only then did she truly appreciate its grandeur.

"My god, this is extravagant! How many Belly did this ship cost to build?!" she murmured.

"Nami would go crazy if she saw this!"

Ryuya was floating above her. With Carina's skills, she couldn't detect him.

He'd initially planned to punish her for her thievery, but hearing her mention Nami, he decided to observe her further.

He also pondered Carina's identity.

Carina stealthily moved deeper into the Ark, carefully examining everything.

She noticed something strange: no one was on watch.

Normally, there would be nighttime patrols to prevent incidents, but there was absolute silence, save for the sea and wind.

This unnerving quietness was almost terrifying.

However, the ship likely held countless treasures, making Carina feel a surge of uncontrollable greed.

She'd take a quick look around; if she found anything, she'd take it. If not, she'd leave.

Within moments, she'd made her decision. Moving silently like a cat, she found a cabin entrance and slipped inside.

Ryuya had already instructed the ship's spirit to allow her access to any room.

The Noah's Ark was immense.

The corridor alone was large enough to fit a sizable ship. Rows of doors lined the walls.

Not knowing which held the treasure, she decided to check each one carefully, assuming the treasure room would be deep within the ship.

Curiosity, however, led her to open the first door she encountered.

The door opened easily. Hearing only soft snoring, she cautiously opened the door further.

Moonlight revealed two sleeping figures. One, a man with a straw hat over his face, lay sprawled on the bed. The other, smaller, was curled up. The other beds were empty.

Ryuya, floating in the air, observed Carina.

He recognized her as Nami's childhood rival, a frenemy from the original story.

Now, Nami, while still fond of money, wasn't a thief. How had that changed? He wondered.

Carina quietly closed the door, feeling a chill. Such a large ship with so few people… and no sails.

How did it move? She swallowed nervously, feeling a cold draft.

But she was already here, so she continued her exploration, heading deeper into the ship, avoiding other doors and arriving at a room resembling a bridge.

It had a wheel, charts, but no one was at the controls.

Ryuya decided to play a prank. He summoned the Noah's Ark's spirit and said, "Hard to port."

The wheel inexplicably turned to the left. This unnerved Carina, turning to look behind her and peering out into the dimly lit corridor, but seeing no one.

Unbeknownst to her, Ryuya, using his Bijo Bijo no Mi, was observing her from behind.

This was even more unsettling! She wondered if she'd stumbled onto a ghost ship, but the two in the first cabin didn't seem like ghosts. It must be a special ship.

She cautiously backed out, exploring the room opposite the bridge. The door opened easily to reveal an empty room except for a cloak hanging on the wall.

Carina's face paled further. Moonlight illuminated her face through the window. The ship felt increasingly strange.

She moved to another room and found a beautiful woman asleep, oddly clutching a sword. Perhaps she had a peculiar sleeping habit.

As Carina withdrew, Kuina suddenly opened her eyes…
