Masses of pitch-black storm clouds collided with red-black lightning that continuously struck the northern sky. Beneath a horizon distorted by giant energy fluctuations, the five-hundred-meter Main Dreadnought Ship of Nocture sailed slowly across the outer boundary of the Northern Sea Trench.
Hundreds-of-meters-high giant waves rolled without pause, tossing the Black Star Steel warship like a wooden twig in the middle of a giant boiling cauldron. Every time a wave slammed into the hull, the resulting hydrostatic impact produced tremendous shocks. The sound of steel humming loudly and energy shields vibrating violently echoed across the entire deck.
