Lilith chose to take Ophielina back to Jennifer's basement before waking her up.
Ophielina was initially a bit confused when she looked at Lilith, after all, the Witch of Lust was using Jennifer's body.
But when she sensed the aura on Lilith, Ophielina's expression immediately changed.
"I didn't think I'd end up in your hands in the end!"
Lilith wore a kind smile on her face, but her eyes were ice cold.
The mother-daughter relationship between Lilith and Ophielina completely vanished after Ophielina stabbed Lilith in the back all those years ago.
Now, they were just two women who were mother and daughter in name only, but enemies in reality.
Talk about a loving mother-daughter relationship!
"Ophielina, I won't beat around the bush. Tell me where my real body is, and I'll make sure your death is quick and painless."
Ophielina spat at Lilith, but Lilith, who was prepared, dodged it.
Lilith knew her daughter's personality too well and had expected her to try and pull something disgusting.
Her disgusting plan failed, but Ophielina wasn't discouraged. Instead, she laughed heartily.
"Lilith, don't you think my body looks familiar?"
Lilith carefully examined Ophielina's body. It did look familiar, but wouldn't her daughter's body naturally look familiar?
Then, Lilith's face suddenly changed.
"How did you get so tall?! Could it be..."
Ophielina laughed wildly, her eyes filled with endless hatred.
"Hahaha... That's right! This is your body! Aren't you just thrilled?"
Lilith was so "thrilled" her face almost turned green.
"You actually fused my perfect body with yours!"
Lilith was furious. Her body was created by God. Although it couldn't compare to the Archangels or the Demon Lords, it was still much stronger than ordinary angels and demons.
That's why Lilith was so desperate to get her body back.
But looking at Ophielina's attitude now, she definitely wouldn't be able to get her body back. Who knows what that girl had done to it; things could easily go sideways.
"You bitch!"
Lilith slapped Ophielina across the face. She knew it was pointless, but at least it felt good!
"It's no use, Mother! What makes you think you're some kind of original witch? You're nothing but a bitch who got kicked out by God and has to sell her body to survive!"
Ophielina was still laughing maniacally, completely tearing away Lilith's facade.
Her intention was clear: to provoke Lilith into killing her directly.
As a seasoned witch, Ophielina knew all too well the torture methods witches used. After Elizabeth sealed her magic, she knew she had no way to resist.
So, a quick death was the best option.
Lilith was indeed very angry, so much so that Jennifer's bra size seemed to increase a bit.
Often, lies don't hurt, but the truth is the most unbearable. The main reason Lilith was so angry was that what Ophielina said was actually true.
Before the Great Flood, the world was truly a place where true gods walked the earth and demigods were as common as dogs.
Although Lilith had a body created by God, her strength at the time was only considered average.
Forget about Demon Lords and Archangels, Lilith might not even have been a match for some high-ranking demons or even some wild animistic gods. (Similar to the Black Panther God of Wakanda, a spiritual god created by long-term faith.)
This made Lilith's life very difficult until she latched onto Samael, who was still a Seraphim at the time.
Samael was originally Lucifer's subordinate, leading a legion of angels and known as the Angel of Wrath.
With such a husband protecting her, Lilith's life indeed became much better, and she even established a powerful witch tribe for a time.
But these favorable conditions completely disappeared after Samael indiscriminately massacred a tribe.
Samael, who had committed the sin, was judged by God, stripped of his Seraphim status, and banished to Hell.
Hell at that time was not the chaotic, all-villainous place it is now.
In fact, Hell was initially just a prison created by God to hold rebellious gods and punish fallen angels.
The environment in Hell back then was actually quite good, even scenic, but for some unknown reason, Hell suddenly transformed into the way people now perceive it.
As a result, the imprisoned pagan gods and fallen angels also fell one after another, turning into evil and terrifying beings.
The most obvious evidence is the description of the 72 demons in the ancient version of the Key of Solomon, which differs greatly from the descriptions in the new version.
Losing Samael's protection made Lilith experience a dramatic fall from grace. That period was the most difficult time for her.
After all, Lilith's personality hadn't exactly made her many friends before, and once her protector was gone, wouldn't her enemies seize the opportunity for revenge?
The result was that Lilith had to take a large group of her daughters and constantly hide, living a precarious existence.
During this time, selling her body and her daughters were routine operations for Lilith.
Finally, after enduring hardship until God unleashed the Great Flood to cleanse the world, and there were no longer so many monsters and demons on the earth, just when Lilith thought she could finally live a good life, she was backstabbed by Ophielina, who stole her body.
Then, she was forced to sleep for thousands of years until she woke up in Jennifer's body.
Lilith was furious, and for a moment, she wanted to just kill Ophielina.
But after experiencing so much, Lilith's personality had changed a lot, so she ultimately held back.
"Ophielina, I won't let you die so easily! I'm going to torture you slowly, forever!"
Ophielina wanted to say something, but Lilith directly grabbed her chin and stuffed something into her mouth.
Soon, Ophielina couldn't speak or move at all. Only her eyeballs could still move, making her look like a vegetable.
Lilith used witchcraft to create a pit in the basement floor and then put Ophielina inside.
"My dear daughter, once I find a new body, I'll slowly deal with you. For now, just experience this feeling of darkness!"
Ophielina's eyeballs rolled wildly, as if she wanted to say something, but Lilith would definitely not give her another chance to speak.
"Now is not the time for you to talk. You have plenty of time to think things over. I hope that the next time I see you, you'll understand your mistakes!"
Lilith wore a kind smile on her face, but her eyes were full of coldness.
Casting another spell to fill the pit, Lilith left the basement with a frosty expression.
"Looks like I need to find a way to get a temporary body first!"
Jennifer wouldn't completely listen to Lilith, so Lilith was essentially stuck in the body of an ordinary high school girl, making it inconvenient to do anything.
But Lilith couldn't just possess anyone; the risk was too great.
The talent of ordinary people couldn't bear the soul of the original witch, and forcibly possessing someone without witch talent would probably prevent her from even casting magic.
Did you think Lilith wanted to stay in Jennifer's body? She was only staying because she had no other choice.
Jennifer not only possessed the bloodline of an ancient witch but also had some demon blood in her body, which was why she could bear Lilith's soul.
Originally, she wanted to use Roy's power to find her daughter and get her body back, but now it seemed that plan had completely failed, so she had to think of another way.
Thinking about these things, Lilith quietly returned to her room, took off her makeup, changed back into her pajamas, and went to sleep as if nothing had happened.
The scene shifted to a pitch-black office, where a person sat silently at a desk.
Perhaps the office owner was trying to save on electricity bills, as they hadn't turned on the lights late at night, just sitting there in silence.
Suddenly, the phone on the desk rang.
The person quickly picked up the receiver.
"Hello, this is Bartholomew."
"This is Genevieve Aristide."
"Chairman, what are your instructions?"
"I heard you've been dealing with a small-time FEA agent recently? Are you bored?"
Bartholomew panicked a little when he heard this.
"Chairman, please let me explain. He..."
The person on the other end of the phone rudely interrupted Bartholomew.
"I don't care what the reason is! The company's top priority right now is Dr. Harlan Wade and the military project! Everything else has to take a backseat to this project! Do you understand me?"
Bartholomew felt a chill in his heart, realizing that some of his minor actions had been discovered by the FEA. The FEA must have warned the company, which was why the Chairman was so angry.
"I understand, Chairman! I will correct my actions!"
At this point, Bartholomew had no choice but to take the blame, secretly resenting Fiona for being so incompetent and unable to handle such a small matter.
What Supreme Witch? She's just some nobody on the street, getting spun around like a top!
Hearing Bartholomew admit his mistake, Genevieve Aristide's tone on the other end of the phone became much gentler.
"Bartholomew, if you don't have anything else going on lately, pay more attention to the canyon project and the Layton couple's project. Especially the Laytons. That couple took so much funding from the company and caused such a big accident. Don't let them cause any more trouble!"
When Genevieve mentioned this, Bartholomew also remembered that his conflict with Roy was due to the Layton couple's project (the eight-legged monster incident).
"Chairman, I will keep a close eye on them. You can rest assured!"
"Very good, Bartholomew. This is the most crucial time for the company. Everything must be done with caution. As long as Dr. Harlan's project can be completed, everything will be different! As for the FEA, someone will clean up that mess."
Genevieve was dangling a carrot in front of Bartholomew, and sometimes the people dangling the carrots start to believe in them themselves.
"I understand!"
The phone hung up, and Bartholomew breathed a sigh of relief.
His feud with the FEA and Roy had to end here.
There was no other way. Although Amacham had the military as its backing, due to the frequent occurrence of supernatural events in recent years, the White House had been paying increasing attention to the FEA.
It was a foregone conclusion that the FEA would develop into a powerful force like the Pentagon in the future. Even Amacham had to make arrangements in advance and didn't dare to continue opposing the FEA.
Otherwise, there would definitely be no good outcome in the future.
"I'll let you off the hook this time!"
Bartholomew gritted his teeth and then picked up his desk phone to dial a number.
"Hello, please arrange my schedule. I need to inspect the canyon project and the Layton couple's new project."
Then, Bartholomew made another call.
"Hello, Delassa? This is Bartholomew. I have some work I want to assign to you. Let's meet tomorrow."
Roy in Los Angeles had no idea that so many things had happened outside while he was exploring the dark forest.
However, after having in-depth discussions with Saltana, Amy, and Dahlia about the laws of the dark forest, Roy deeply felt that the dark forest was indeed very dangerous.
Seriously!
It was full of terrifying female monsters who wanted to devour men alive!
A strong and handsome boy like Roy was like a firefly in the dark forest, simply too conspicuous.
As a result, poor Roy was repeatedly oppressed by the three female monsters. Even with his physique attribute reaching 60 points, he felt a bit overwhelmed.
There was no other way. The three older sisters felt like they hadn't seen Roy for a while, so they had to take advantage of the present to eat their fill.
The three women coordinated perfectly, with excellent chemistry, simply using Roy like an animal!
Under this terrifying pincer attack, Roy could only silently endure the humiliation until the later stages of the battle, when he finally turned the tide. Relying on his physical strength, he saw the dawn of victory and completed his counterattack.
"Dare you ride on top of me again, Saltana?!"
Saltana shook her head repeatedly, tears streaming down her face.
"No, I wouldn't dare!"
"Dare you mock me again, Dahlia?!"
Dahlia whimpered. She really wanted to answer Roy, but unfortunately, her language module was blocked and she couldn't speak.
"Amy, dare you ambush me again?"
Amy was equally speechless. Her eyes rolled back, and she made meaningless syllables, her soul already far away.
The fierce battle finally ended with Roy's victory.
It was truly not easy!
When Roy left the Dolphin Hotel, he actually felt his legs were a little shaky.
The potential of humanity is indeed endless!
Roy suddenly felt that he couldn't be satisfied with the status quo and had to continue improving his physique.
After this "battle," Roy didn't bother with the follow-up of the mirror world. After all, he had said everything he needed to say, and no one could stop the FEA if they insisted on courting death.
So, the next day, Roy drove Bumblebee out of Los Angeles and returned to Waterfall Town.
Because Bumblebee now had autopilot, Roy didn't need to rest along the way. This also meant he wouldn't encounter a bunch of random things on the road like he had during previous long trips.
But then again, Amy, Penny, and Ashley were all met during long trips.
He wasn't sure if this non-stop travel was a good thing or not.
Anyway, Roy quite liked it. He would just fall asleep in the car and wake up at home, saving himself from all the boring parts of the journey.
