Hey everyone, I couldn't upload today's chapter, and I know nobody cares about my long excuses, so I'll just say I ran out of time.
That said, I decided to write this because it's important to say this as soon as possible since it could change the Fate worlds Dante visits in the Holy Grail Wars, Singularity, and Lostbelt.
And that's the topic of the fourth and fifth members of Dante's harem. I've already chosen the third spot, and the beginning of their story in the series is already written; I won't say more. But regarding the third member, this was originally going to be Arturia Lancer, but after thinking about it due to certain circumstances, I thought it might not be a good idea.
First, Arturia Lancer is a goddess, so that entails certain things, such as her emotions. If I try to include her, it will be in the Camelot Singularity, and if you've played the game and seen the two movies, you'll know what she's like: an almost emotionless being.
Second, it will be very difficult to restore emotions; I have ways, but from my point of view, they don't make sense. It would be like creating a Gary Stu or something, which I'd like to avoid.
Third, he's in a singularity. Dante has several classes, of which the Assassin class can be considered the weakest, being capable of fighting several high-level Servants, including Sun Wukong. So imagine, since if he's summoned in a singularity, it will be in another class, and his power scale will fall short unless it's against Goetia or Tiamat, but I wouldn't send him there; it doesn't make sense since Solomon is there and his grandfather has him under control. The best thing is for him to go with the heavy hitters, directly from the Lostbelt, at least from my point of view.
Now that I've clarified this, I come to what I'm not clear about, and that's why I'm doing this: who should I choose?
I have several proposals; the first is to leave everything as is and continue with Arturia Lancer since I already have the plot set up. There's also one of the most obvious options that I wouldn't want to leave out, but at the same time, I do since it's been done before: either Scáthach or going for the Scáthach-Skadi combination. Another option I seriously considered is Minamoto no Raikō, whom I could have appeared with in a Holy Grail War, as well as the following options: Tamamo no Mae; Joan of Arc (or her alternate version); Typhon Ephemeros (I really liked the design); and my favorite so far, Uesugi Kenshin (Nagao Kagetora).
I'm still very undecided, and the decision regarding this harem member could make me stray from one path to another, but I will definitely do the Holy Grail Wars I mentioned at the beginning, regardless of which one I choose. So I ask you: which would you choose, or which might be better?
P.S. If you want, you can also suggest one, but it has to be a Servant; otherwise, it doesn't count.
Now, to finish up, the fifth member of the harem. While I was on social media, I remembered an anime that could fit perfectly into the mash-up universe, and that's Monster Musume.
I don't need to introduce the world to the universe; the character is more than enough, so I'll ask you, what do you think about one of the harem members being one of the protagonists? Mio and Suu don't count for reasons that seem childish, and Dante is a father; it would be a bit creepy from my point of view. If you like the idea, well, my favorite is Rachnera Arachnera; that's all I'll say.
