Chapter 80 - Chapter 80: Separation and Destruction (Final Part)

Ares launched himself with everything he had, being dodged with incredible ease. Unlike before, Dante no longer uses his Haki to observe others; he's completely focused on his opponent, so he can see what they'll do quite easily. This is quite the opposite of his opponent, who, being so agitated, can barely control his Observation Haki. If it weren't for his semi-immortality, he would have already escaped this fight.

He stopped abruptly as he was about to launch himself again, but Dante was already at his side and, with great force, dragged him with himself to another location, as far away from anyone still alive as possible.

The two flew through the skies, clashing swords and continuously repelling each other. For the few spectators still watching, all that was visible was a red and blue comet colliding.

In the air, Dante grabbed Ares's face and, using his strength, smashed him at high speed, creating a huge crater. However, Ares didn't let go of his face, dragging him across the ground.

Ares didn't miss the opportunity and buried his sword in Dante's midriff. Dante let go and, taking advantage of this, used a huge amount of energy in his arms and tried to send him into space.

Dante was only dragged a few meters, only to repel the energy with just his arms. Ares, still on the ground, launched an absurd number of missiles again, which Dante dodged one by one at maximum speed until they reached Ares, who, with all his strength, punched him in the stomach, piercing his body and creating a hole.

Dante immediately jumped back, only to see Ares stand up. He was covered in blood and looked incredibly exhausted; he may heal from any wound with rapid regeneration, but that doesn't take away all his mental strength.

Ares extended his hand, turning it into a machine gun, which fired thousands of bullets in a matter of seconds, but Dante only created a normal sword, which began to spin, repelling all the bullets.

Dante saw that his opponent was already exhausted, so he dismantled his sword and created some gauntlets. They had the same design he used when fighting gangs in his past life, with fists that should have been rusty, but since they were created with his energy, he couldn't give them those properties.

He saw how in Ares's body, of the eight lifelines he had intact, he now only had five. Unconsciously, as they were cutting each other, he had cut three of these lines before.

The way this was going, he didn't know if he could end up making Ares commit suicide, so he would have to use that ability sooner or later.

Dante: "Let it be as late as possible, then," he thought, imagining other ways to brutally beat his father.

And with that thought, he launched himself at Ares. Ares tried to slash at him, but he dodged it gracefully, and in that moment, Ares became a certified punching bag.

First, he struck Ares's ribs, breaking them all on one side in a single motion, then moved on to his arm, breaking it as well, and so on.

Ares endured eternal torture; while the broken flesh and bones in his body regenerated, Dante broke two or three more in the process.

Stepping firmly on the ground, he throws a punch that lands directly in Ares's face, and the moment it hits him, his Devil Fruit transformation disappears, but his opponent is thrown into the rubble.

His hair, face, eyes, and clothing returned to normal, as if nothing had ever happened, but with the consequences of what happened in between.

Dante falls to one knee, clutching his chest, where Ares had pierced him a moment ago; now there is a wound with blood oozing from it.

Dante: "I see, the god of death cannot die, but right now I am not."

After the misinformation, Dante felt a small strain on his body. But it was nothing compared to the strain on his mind and spirit from abusing a power he'd never used before.

Dante: "I can't fully transform, but I can still do one more thing."

With that, the black wings appeared on his back again, and one of his eyes turned blue. That was his limit at that very moment. Even with only one eye, he could see the lifelines; by default, he could still cut them. He couldn't summon weapons or his armor, but he still had his wings, so it wasn't so bad.

Ares emerged from the rubble; he could see himself physically and mentally, but within what he saw, he was unharmed.

Dante: "As much as I like to see you suffer, we have to end this; seeing you like this already makes me feel satisfied," he said to Ares with a hollow, tired smile.

Ares didn't reply, but his intention to continue fighting didn't fade. Dante summoned Murasama into his hand with the help of the system and, using Soru, reached Ares's guard.

Seeing this, Ares launched an attack, which Dante failed to dodge. In less than 5 seconds, both had already delivered several slashes. Dante delivered four specific slashes.

Dante kicked Ares away, as he was already recovering from his cuts. Summoning his sword's sheath, he spoke.

Dante: "Forgive me, but I want to do this with the companion who's been with me through all my fights since the New World." The katana reacted to this by fading its color, its lightning bolts emitting furiously as if it were going out, and with that, he put it back in its sheath.

Ares was already recovering, so he had to act quickly. He reached out, and the Fusion Sword appeared. He swept its blade across his hand as if wiping it clean, and with that, he launched himself at Ares.

Ares reacted in time, blocking the attack, but he didn't expect Dante to press a button on his sword and the various swords flew out.

With the greatest speed he could muster, Dante flew at every sword in the air. He kicked one of them, which ended up burying itself in Ares's thigh and burying itself in the ground. The next one caught it and buried it in his arm; another in his torso, in his lung, in his other foot, and the next in his neck.

Ares couldn't react to this barrage of attacks, remaining in place, unable to respond due to the pain each of Dante's attacks inflicted on him. He could barely think clearly; the psychological aftermath of the beating his son gave him was quite effective.

He saw Dante in the air, with the last sword, this being the main one, and with a diagonal slash. He cut across his chest, which felt like his soul was separating from his body. He tried to hold on but couldn't; he only saw a light calling him to the other, being dragged into nothingness.

And with that, the battle between Dante and Ares ended, with Dante taking his opponent's life, with many lives lost in the conflict.

Elsewhere, Trini, Isis, and Sulli were devastated by all this, standing next to the corpses of Hun and Arthur, already mourning their loss. But that doesn't mean they don't still feel grief and anger about everything they've experienced.

Sulli stared at Isis's wounds, only to grimace at the fact that she couldn't heal her in the condition she was in.

At that moment, Walt woke up from his fainting spell, looking around.

Walt: "You people," he said with immense rage, as if his entire family had been killed. Sulli stood in front of the two women; even with one arm missing, she could still fight. "You will suffer the gravest consequences in this world; you don't know what a capital punishment it is for insects like you to touch a superior being like me." At that moment, he took out a den den mushi from his pocket and dialed a number, which was quickly answered.

???: "Walt, what's going on? Did something big happen?"

Walt: "If these guys dared to..." He couldn't continue his rant as a piece of debris fell near him, halting what he was doing from a distance. Not because it almost fell on him, but because where the object had come from, a person could be seen walking toward him.

His eyes snapped open as he saw Dante walking calmly with only Ares's head in his hand.

Walt: "You killed Sir Ares, how dare you? Do you know the consequences of that, Dante?"

???: "What? what did you just say?"

Dante: "I'm not interested in all that anymore, much less in explaining myself to a dead man."

Walt: "What do you mean, a mu—?" The reality of Dante's words hit him suddenly. "GET AWAY FROM ME! HELP, COMMANDER! THIS TRAITOR WANTS TO KILL ME; HE HAS TO."

He couldn't continue, as he received a punch to the face, knocking him away and dropping the den den mushi.

???: "Hello? Walt, are you there?"

Dante: "You guys are really annoying," he said coldly to the den den mushi before stomping on it.

Dante walked slowly to where Walt was, and Walt began to crawl on the ground, tears in his eyes and yellow liquid oozing from his pants.

Trini and the others watched all this with fear in their eyes, but they couldn't look away, as they wanted to see Dante bring justice to Arthur and Hun.

After a few steps, Dante reached Walt, who began begging for his life, crying and saying he promised never to leave the holy land again.

Dante placed Ares's head on the floor and held Walt's head tightly from behind, placing him on his back. Then he inserted both hands into Walt's mouth, placing the fingers of one hand on his lower teeth and the other on his upper teeth. With that, he began to open his mouth, forcing himself deeper and deeper.

Walt's screams of despair filled the room; his mouth could be seen slowly, slowly, opening. To force Dante to weaken his grip and tighten his grip, he split Walt's head in two, killing him instantly.

Blood was spilling from Walt's corpse, and Dante was now holding Walt's head, but without the jawbone, which was on the other side of the corpse lying on the ground.

Dante, seeing this, just looked up at the sky, revealing that it was barely noon. Trini approached him slowly.

Trini: "Dante?" she asked.

He just knelt on the ground and looked at Trini. Dante had tears in his eyes, revealing an emptiness they had never seen before.

Dante: "I'm sorry, I failed you," he said with a forced smile. Seeing this, she ran to him to hug him; he reciprocated, bursting into tears. Now she knew that losing her family hurt more than never having one in the first place.

* Moment of Transition *

The World Government sent several sailors and other government agents to the island where all this had happened. It was already dusk, and it would be nightfall any moment.

Momonga was in charge; he had recently been promoted to vice admiral, and there was that sense of excitement at this being his first mission as such. There might have been other members like CP9 or CP8 he couldn't command, but it didn't matter much.

Marine: "Oh, my God," said the marine standing next to him with a pair of binoculars.

Momonga: "What's going on?" he said sternly.

Marine: "See for yourself," he said, trembling, as he handed him his binoculars.

Momonga did just that and saw what his subordinate saw, which shocked him.

On the seashore near the island's port, there were 10 stakes buried in the sand, each of which had a head buried in it. On the middle head was Ares's head and half of Walt's head; the rest belonged to the CP0 members who had accompanied them.

Everyone on the ships knew they had confronted the group of heroes, but they never expected to see something like this. This only means one thing: a call to war against the world government. The hero Dante rebelled against the world government and the navy.

* In Mary Geoise, Pangea *

Warcury: "We can't just stand by and do nothing. We must act against him."

Nasjuro: "I agree. A bounty on his head and a permanent ban on him as a world noble."

Peter: "Who disagrees with this?" I ask the others, receiving no answers. "Fine, I'll do this with immediate effect; now, what bounty do we give him on his poster?"

Saturn: "I killed three Celestial Dragons if we count the first heir of the Manmayer family, not to mention that he was able to kill someone with the power of Imu-sama, so his threat is very high."

And so, the Gorosei continued talking about the threat Dante posed to the world government.

*Transition moment*

Dante's POV

I woke up with a start; my head was still spinning, but the feeling of pressure had disappeared. Driving the boat from the island to where we were had left me feeling ill. When we arrived at our destination, I suddenly fainted. I had to do it; I couldn't just leave Arthur and Hun's corpses lying anywhere. I couldn't find Alfonso's body, so he must have been burned to ashes by Ares's attack.

When I tried to get up, I saw a white-haired woman lying next to me, her face growing larger as if she were about to disappear. I wasn't surprised by the scene, as I had come here expecting something like this.

When she felt movement, she woke up immediately and looked at me with her golden-yellow eyes directly into mine. Celestia grabbed my face, looked at me, and turned my face.

Celestia: "Waking you up, darling. I didn't know what it would be like if you left my life." She said, almost crying, as if she were seeing a ghost.

Dante: "Celestia, how long was I asleep?" I asked.

Celestia: "About a whole day," she said innocently. I looked at her and just realized she was wearing a nurse's outfit. She noticed my gaze and blushed. "You like it? I asked Tato for it, since she'll soon finish her studies and join my father's crew as his personal nurse."

Dante: "Yeah, you look beautiful," I said, a little reluctantly.

Celestia: "Seriously, if you marry me, I promise to wear it every day just for you," she said flirtatiously, blowing a kiss with her fingers.

Dante: "Yeah, no thanks. I don't plan on getting married, ever." And with that, I stood up, ignoring the small pain in my diaphragm.

Celestia: "Wait, where are you going?" she said, following me.

I ignored her; I had something to do. I left her house and walked to the seaside. The people around me were staring at me and whispering. I didn't bother to pay attention to what they were saying.

When I arrived at my destination, I saw Trini, Sulli, and Isis, along with some people making a coffin that was almost ready.

When I saw Sulli without an arm and Isis in a wheelchair, my heart ached. But I kept approaching them.

Isis: "Dante, are you okay?" She was the first to notice me.

Trini: "Dante."

Sulli: "It's a good thing you woke up. You had us a little worried, but we're already used to things like this." I just responded with a fleeting, tired smile.

Dante: "I see you've got everything ready."

Trini: "Yes, when will we bury them?"

Dante: "As soon as Whitebeard arrives and gives us permission to do so."

Everyone attended and continued watching the other details of what was happening.

We stayed there for a while, but I left at the end; I had nothing to do, and it pained me to see the three of them like that. I went to get some strong wine and some cigars and went to a secluded part of the island.

I stood on a cliff, lit the cigar, and smoked it. The last time I smoked was the last day I was in prison. I wanted to give up all those bad things, and the irony is that if I had wanted to continue with that, I wouldn't have been able to, since I didn't have the money for it.

I uncorked the wine and sat on the shore, and there I stayed. Not far behind me came Celestia, who stood behind me, saying nothing.

Dante: "You know, it was my idea to go on that tour; I wanted our last moments as a team to be unforgettable. If only I hadn't given them that idea, maybe Arthur would still be with us." I sobbed as I drank the bottle of wine in one gulp.

I felt Celestia hug me from behind, hugging my neck and placing her head next to mine.

Celestia: "It's not your fault, baby. You couldn't see into the future and know this would happen."

Dante: "But me." I tried to speak, but she placed my face against her breasts and began to stroke my head.

Celestia: "Shuuu, don't say any more. It's not your fault. Let me help you soothe your wounded heart." I felt like a mermaid was speaking in my ear. "Let's go to my house to talk more calmly." I let her words entice me.

And so she took me to her house that night. She took me by the arm and led me to her bedroom. At this point, I was so depressed that I didn't care what was happening to me or anything else; I just wanted to stop feeling this way.

Once in the bedroom, she made me put down the wine and the pack of cigarettes and sat me down on the bed, so she was sandwiched on top of me.

Celestia: "Let me help you forget that pain." Something inside me told me not to let her keep doing whatever she wanted to me, but another part of me wanted to listen to her and forget everything bad.

And with that, she gave me a deep kiss on the lips, which she reciprocated a little later. She began to undress me, and then she began to do the same. I watched as she took off her shirt and undid her bra, revealing her enormous breasts. She grabbed my head and directed it toward her breast; I, purely instinctively, moved toward a nipple and began licking it. She immediately began moaning and, in the process, began stroking my member.

Celestia: "That's it. Make me yours, and I'll make you forget all those bad memories, baby." It sounded like a deal with a demon, and it was, except I was so mentally unwell that I ignored it all.

Third-Person POV

On the shore of the island, a giant ship arrived. This was the Moby Dick. They had received a call from Trini telling her about the situation they were facing; they weren't far away, so they arrived in less than two days.

When they arrived, they were surprised that no one was waiting for them; they had called Celestia, telling her they were close to reaching the island.

Marcos told Whitebeard this while they were getting off. He became a little worried, thinking something might have happened to his daughter. She used Observation Haki to see her house and determine if she was home.

What she saw chilled her blood; her skin paled, and her eyes widened in shock. She quickly returned to the ship, grabbed her naginata, and ran furiously to Celestio's house. Marcos saw her; he used Haki to see what was happening, and when he realized what was happening, he acted immediately, knowing this would be a huge disaster.

At Celestia's house, on the bed in her room, were Dante and Celestia; they were having sex. Dante was on top of her, thrusting with quick and steady thrusts. She had her arms wrapped around Dante's neck and her legs tied around Dante's hips so that when he came, he would do so inside, not outside.

Soon, Dante came, marking the fifth time he'd done it inside. And just as he was about to do it, I felt a tremor in the room, stopping him in place. Only for the house to be demolished with a single blow.

Dante turned around to see a furious Whitebeard with his weapon ready to attack.

Whitebeard: "Stay away from my daughter, you bastard." Dante quickly released Celestia and blocked the attack with his arms and Haki, sending him flying away.

Dante: "I knew it would be a bad idea," he said, crashing into a mound of buried earth, his steps bare.
