"I'll contact Mr. Harold first." Mara was already reaching for her phone as she said that. "He deserves to hear the news directly before we start reaching out to anyone else."
"He waited patiently for our decision. Let's not keep him waiting any longer." Gray nodded in agreement.
"On it." Mara stepped out of the conference room to make the call, leaving Gray alone for a brief moment.
Meanwhile, Gray just stayed in the room for a while. He stood up and slowly walked toward the large window overlooking the parking lot of the second branch. It was a 1-way glass so others wouldn't be able to see him.
Since it was a Monday and still early in the morning, the employees were going in and out of the back entrance while delivery trucks unloaded their goods at the receiving bay.
He just stared at it for a while.
'We've really come this far…' Gray couldn't help but smile. Not long after, Mara returned too.
"It's done."
"That was fast." Gray turned around to meet her gaze.
