Jasmine opened the door quietly.
The bedside lamp in the room was lit up.
Seeing her mother lying on the bed, Jasmine was surprised and then whispered, "Mom, why are you still awake."
Jasmine's face was still red, which made her pretty.
She took off her coat and hung her bag in the wardrobe.
They planed to celebrate New Year's Day together. Jasmine thought that her mother would have fallen asleep since it was very late.
Unexpectedly, her mother was still waiting for her.
"Did you have dinner?"
The woman whispered and was about to sit up. Jasmine quickly gave her a pillow to support her back. "Not yet, I'm going to cook."
The woman nodded. She took away the bowl of noodles on the bedside cabinet. It got cold.
Jasmine noticed that her mother ate less and less when she wasn't at home.
Looking at bubbles of boiling water in the pot, Jasmine lowered her head and said in a low voice, "Mom, let's go to the hospital next week."
Her mother did need treatment.
