In the corridor of the hospital.
Halle held the food box in her hand tightly. Although her face was expressionless, revealing no emotions, psychologically she was a mess.
Standing at the door of the Director's office, Halle put on a slight smile and knocked on the door.
"Come in!"
After getting permission from inside, Halle turned the door and saw Horton who was still immersed in work. She smiled and said, "Lunch break. Doesn't Dr. Hutt want to eat with me?"
Halle stood at the door, elegant and gentle.
She wore a light green dress, which gave her an air of grace.
Her eyes met Horton's gaze, full of affection.
Horton sitting at the table was obviously a little surprised. He stood up and walked towards Halle.
The moment the door closed, Halle was held in his arms. Horton whispered in her ear, "Why are you so late? I've been waiting for you for a long time."
They had just seen each other in the morning and but he started to miss her since they parted.
