"Splash." With a sound, Naruto fell directly into the waterfall at the end of the valley.
The water in the lake, farther away from the waterfall, gradually calmed down. The moment Naruto fell in, ripples spread out in layers.
Naruto climbed out of the water and stood straight on the rushing river.
He felt unwilling but couldn't bring himself to truly hate Sasuke.
But if he didn't act with the intention to kill him, he wouldn't be able to bring Sasuke back.
Why does he have to seek revenge?
He had always seen Sasuke as a friend, as a rival of the same age.
But because they were friends, he couldn't really hurt Sasuke.
"Am I no longer your friend? Was everything we did together with everyone else meaningless?"
Water droplets kept falling from Naruto's head, and he shouted loudly at Sasuke.
"It's not meaningless. You are my most important friend."
"But I also have something I must do."
"Don't stop me."
No matter how much more he said about the past, it would be meaningless, although he couldn't deny all the past and memories.
But he still had to become stronger in order to maintain his desire to win and his pride.
