After calming himself down, Zachary came back to join the crowd. Looking bitter, he asked, "Ms. Carter, can we go in now?"
He was praying hard that Yvonne had no more tricks left.
With a sly expression, Yvonne said, "Mr. Lawson, be patient. We have one last game. Leo will be able to meet his beautiful bride once you accomplish the final mission."
Zachary felt hopeless, knowing that it was not the end yet.
"Leo, you have to treat me very kindly given how much I have sacrificed for you today," he said as he turned to Leo.
He had been traumatized by the kiss he had with a man earlier.
Leo smiled without saying a word.
"All right then, Ms. Carter. Bring it on!" Zachary said with a determined look.
Yvonne cast a meaningful glance at Clarkson, and the latter clapped to give the signal. Soon, spiky mats were brought in and laid out on the entire walkway from the bottom of the staircase all the way to Zoey's bedroom.
