Amused, Zoey said, "Leo, you are scaring Nash. She was trying to show me how fast her heart was beating when she saw Yale."
Leo frowned. "Another love at first sight? This time it's Yale?"
Nash already had a couple of men who she claimed made her feel love at first sight.
"Leo, I swear he's my Mr. Right! I will not look at other men ever again!" Nash pledged.
Leo scoffed in disbelief when he heard her words.
After all, Nash had always been switching love interests. However, none of them lasted. Hence, despite being a grown woman, she had never dated anyone before.
She might be a romance novelist, but she was still inexperienced in real-life relationships.
"Zoey, don't listen to him." Nash pulled Zoey to the side and asked, "So, how much do you know about Mr. Nathan?"
"Absolutely nothing. Like you, I just met him today," Zoey said truthfully. "Are you sure? Isn't he Mr. Haden's friend?"
