Charles slowly regained his composure. "What happened to me just now, Haden?" he asked his brother with a confused look.
"Nothing. You kinda snapped." Haden patted his head and continued, "I don't blame you for teaching this jerk a lesson. If I were you, I'd be constantly punching him until I was satisfied. But it's not worth getting your hands dirty because of him."
Hearing that, Charles lowered his head to look at Xavier, who was barely breathing while sprawled across the floor. Once again, his eyes flashed with murderous intent toward Xavier.
Charles tried to push Haden away as he wanted to punch Xavier again. Haden quickly hugged him from behind to stop him. "Calm down, please. You shouldn't have his blood on your hands. Even if you want to kill him, I should do it on your behalf," said Haden.
Haden wanted Charles to stay as pure and naïve as he was. A rogue like him should be the one doing all the evil deeds.
