"Zoey, what's wrong?" Stacey nudged her and asked.
Zoey snapped back into reality and shook her head. "It's nothing. I was just reminiscing about my school days."
Stacey grinned. "I bet you're the campus belle back then, and you had a lot of admirers."
Zoey replied, "You can say that. But they were quite innocent back then. They would put notes or candies on my desk, at most."
"They didn't send you any texts?" Stacey thought Zoey would have a phone back then.
Zoey shook her head. "They didn't."
Leo suddenly pulled Zoey into his embrace. Stacey, who had been holding Zoey's arm, staggered from his sudden movement.
"Are you jealous, Leo?" Stacey joked.
"She's mine and mine only." Leo glanced at her.
Stacey rolled her eyes. "Man, you do get jealous easily."
"Let's go, Darling. I saw some delicious food over there." Leo then dragged Zoey away.
"Leo, the meatballs aren't done yet."
"You just wait there then."
