Dorothy nodded her head in response. Finally, a smile appeared on her face.
Meanwhile, Zoey had just come out of the hospital. Out of nowhere, Charles came running over with a bag full of stuff in his hands.
"Zoey."
He ran over to Zoey and raised up the bag in his hand. "I found online that eating candies is the best way to cheer someone up, so I bought every single type of candy I could find at the supermarket. Have a try."
Zoey twitched her mouth as she looked at all the colorful candies in the bag. She did not want to embarrass Charles while he was looking right at her. Thus, she obediently grabbed a piece of candy and peeled off the wrapper before popping it into her mouth.
