Zoey was amused at what she heard.
"Let's go, Zoey. Everyone's waiting for you inside."
Iris took Zoey along and headed in, with Leo following behind.
"Mom, Zoey's back," Iris said.
Christine gestured at Zoey to come over.
"Grandma." Zoey smiled.
Christine held her hand and patted it. "Zoey, are you saddened by the press conference held by Old Mr. and Mrs. Miller?"
"No." Zoey shook her head. "To me, they're nothing but two strangers. Even if I'm disgusted by their actions, I won't have any thoughts other than feeling like retching."
Her answer made Christine burst into laughter.
"That's good to hear. I'm worried that you'll put too much thought into it. But it seems like you aren't as vulnerable as I thought you'd be," Christine replied.
