Leo followed the nurse's instructions to the ward. The moment he entered, he saw Zoey carrying a baby in her arms and gently caressing it. Glistening in the sunlight that was shining through the windowpane, Zoey looked like an angel with a pair of invisible wings.
Leo's mind blanked out from having seen the look on Zoey's charming face. He was in a daze.
At that very moment, Leo could only think of a few words to describe her.
"Sir... You are..."
The patient's family was staring at Leo, who came out of nowhere. Gazing at him, one of the members began to blush and stammer as she wanted to ask who he was.
Leo walked straight toward Zoey and said, "I'm her husband."
He felt as proud as a peacock when he introduced himself as her husband.
"Oh, you're Dr. Fuller's husband! No wonder you're so tall and handsome. The both of you look like a match made in heaven!"
The patient's family continued praising him.
