Once the needles struck the men, Shawn sprinted in their direction. However, unbeknownst to him, Alex - who had fallen earlier - managed to push herself up and aimed her tranquilizer gun at him.
However, her hands were shaky because Shawn had drugged her earlier. She missed her aim, and the tranquilizer dart ended up hitting him squarely on his back.
"K, you forced me to do this." Alex then pressed a red button on the remote control in her shirt.
Moments later, Shawn's bodyguards shouted, "Mr. Shawn, the bombs have been detonated!"
Shawn was still dizzy from the tranquilizer, but he did his best to shake it off once he heard the explosion.
He rushed toward the women and children. "Quickly! Carry one of them each and jump out of the window!"
As soon as he said that, he immediately carried a boy in his arms and leaped off the window.
