Zoey frowned. "Dr. Ziegler, I'll accept your arrangement this time, but don't do it again. I wouldn't want the others to think of me as someone who pulls strings."
Zohar's forehead was beaded with sweat as he peeked at Leo. At the same time, their eyes met. Startled by Leo's sharp gaze, he almost kneeled.
"Dr. Ziegler, Leo will support any decision that I make," said Zoey.
In other words, she meant that Leo would not trouble Zohar as she was the one who agreed to the arrangement of the surgery.
"This..." Zohar shot a look at Leo, seemingly asking for reassurance.
"I'm cool with that," replied Leo.
"Okay, Mr. Yancey." Zohar secretly heaved a sigh of relief before saying, "Dr. Fuller, I believe Dr. Smith would not be stirring up trouble again after being warned by Mr. Yancey."
At that point, Zoey finally understood Leo's intention of coming to the hospital.
