Zoey walked over with a smile on her face. "Why are you standing here?" "I'm afraid that you'd get bullied by Henry," Leo confessed.
Zoey was nonplussed for a moment. Then she retorted, "Leo, do I look like someone who'd get bullied easily? You should be thankful that it's not the other way round."
Leo pinched her cheek gently. "Darling, that's what you think."
Zoey glanced at him and asked, "Really? Are you sure?"
Upon saying that, they looked at each other and burst out laughing.
"Let's get going. Teacher is waiting for us."
"Okay."
A figure sped before their eyes as they arrived at the bonfire. Leo reflexively shielded Zoey with his body as he scrutinized the figure that was moving swiftly in their direction.
Just as Leo was about to land a kick on the figure, the latter yelled, "So you are the guy who abandoned Zoey back then."
Leo did not reply and questioned him in return. "Who are you?"
