"Sure, Ms. Kayla." Hill left immediately after receiving the order.
Zoey knocked gently on Kayla's head and said, "And just what are you thinking of doing again?"
Blinking her eyes, Kayla looked very adorable. She replied, "Mommy, I don't have anything on my mind. I was only asking."
"You could do anything you want as long as no one sees it, all right?" Zoey said. "And bring a few bodyguards along with you. Don't go alone. Do you hear me?"
Kayla smiled sheepishly upon hearing her mother. "Mommy, you know me so well."
"You were in my belly for ten months. I can read what's in your mind with just any tiny move you make." Zoey lowered her head to check on Kayla's stomach. "But are you sure your wound is fine?"
She knew she could not stop Kayla from playing any tricks if the latter wanted to, so she had to warn her upfront. Otherwise, she might not be able to clean after her mess if anything bad were to happen.
