Darcy pinched her right wrist with two fingers while crossing her hands, leaving obvious fingerprints on her skin. She regained some rationality as the pain slowly spread through her body.
"Isaac, didn't you say that I am the most important person in your heart?" She asked softly, trying to conceal her true feelings that flashed across her eyes as she lowered her gaze.
"Honey, of course, you're important to me. However, that doesn't stop me from admiring someone else."
Isaac looked at her and continued. "Therefore, you should keep an open mind and let go of Zoey. She doesn't get jealous easily. Instead, she will admire someone better than her and will learn from them sincerely. As opposed to you, who is constantly jealous."
Darcy looked at him as her eyes reddened.
Had she not known that the man in front of her was really Isaac, she would have assumed that he had been switched somehow.
