"I'm leaving, Mr. Yancey," said Adam.
Leo nodded.
As soon as Adam left, Kayla leaned on Leo. "Daddy, you have to be kind to Master Adam. Don't be too harsh on him."
"Am I not kind enough to him?" Leo scooped her up and placed her in the back seat. "You can ask any of the bodyguards. I'm sure that they'll tell you that I treat them kindly."
"Then, you have to be extra kind to Master Adam. He's now our mentor, so we'll have to respect him," Kayla exhorted.
Leo was lost for words.
For some reason, he felt like his daughter was about to leave him for another man.
"Promise me, Daddy." said Kayla coquettishly.
"Kayla, aren't you afraid that I'll be jealous?"
In fact, Leo felt a brief flash of jealousy now that his daughter was trying to protect another man.
Tilting her head, Kayla asked in perplexity, "Why would you feel jealous? Obviously, Master Adam is incomparable with Daddy. In my heart, Daddy's always the best!"
