Zoey took a bite, and picked up the other one, passing it to Leo's mouth. He ate a large part of it fawningly, with his mouth turning up, and his eyes narrowed slightly, "The food fed by my honey tastes especially delicious."
"The pastry you fed me was tasty as well," Zoey answered also with curved up eyes.
The two showed their affection regardless of the others around as if Xavier and Madigan were invisible like air.
"Zoey, it's been a few days since you have returned. As your old acquaintances, I haven't welcomed you formally. I wonder if I have the honor to have a meal with you?" Xavier asked, pretending not to have seen the sweetness between Leo and Zoey.
Zoey swept a glance at him and asked casually, "Who is your old acquaintance?"
Xavier silently gritted his teeth with tongue pressed against, "Zoey, at least, many years ago, we were..."
