As expected, this answer caused the situation to become worse.

The woman's expression became furious.
"I'm sorry! But I'm serious! My master really had a relationship with your grandmother."

The woman took off one of her slippers and raised it, ready to throw it at him.
David could have forced his way inside, but he knew that his master wouldn't appreciate such behavior against the granddaughter of his old flame, so he could only leave in shame.
As soon as he disappeared from sight, the woman's furious expression vanished.
Her face became calm as she quietly closed the door and returned inside.
