WORLD OVERVIEW: TITANIUM
A continent divided by power, belief, and old magic. Though Midlane may be the largest kingdom, it is far from the center of true power. Beneath the surface of diplomacy and tradition stirs the memory of older forces, magic, blood cults, threatening to return.
Kingdom of Midlane (South)
Largest by land, known for its temples, cathedrals, and ancient cities. The Holy Church wields major influence, religion and governance are intertwined. Known for: agriculture, gold, religious relics, theological universities. Ruled by a monarchy, but the dark cult is the true power behind the throne. Conflict: A brewing tension between monarchists, church loyalists, and hidden mage factions.
Everest Empire (Central)
The military superpower of the continent. Ruled by the Imperial Lineage of Everest, rumored to be descended from divine ancestors. Known for: steel craft, massive cities, disciplined armies, imperial law. Dominant religion: A pantheon, based imperial cult, rivals Midlane's monotheistic church. Looks down on Midlane as superstitious and stagnant.
Elivio (Northwest)
A mineral, rich country, mountainous and rugged. Famous for: mithril, mana crystals, and rare earths. Home to independent guilds, mountain clans, and mercantile powers. Politically unstable, power shifts between clan chieftains and merchant princes. Magic is practical here, used in mining, crafting, and healing.
Camila Kingdom (Far North)
An icy, mysterious realm, where old magic and new neutrality blend. Ruled by Mage King Antonius Grudge, a neutral power feared and respected. Populace is a mix of sorcerer, nobles, mystics, and ice, bound tribes. Outsiders are rarely allowed beyond the veil of enchanted snow. Known for: magical libraries, enchanted beasts, runic forges, and ethereal cities.
️ Edo Island Kingdom (East)
A chain of islands led by the Supreme Samurai, Karishma Nagasaki. Known for: sword-masters, wind magic, naval strength, and honor code. Deeply spiritual, shamanism and sword are one. Although isolated, they are fiercely proud and quick to defend their honor. Midlane and Everest view them as exotic, yet dangerous.
Underlying World Themes
Magic vs. Religion: Midlane suppresses magic as heresy, while other nations embrace it.
Prophecy and Reincarnation: Lost knowledge from Camila and Edo may hold keys to past lives.
Balance of Power: Everest dominates through strength, but Camila holds deeper secrets. Edo holds technique; Elivio holds resources. Midlane holds ancient truth, but it's buried.
MAIN CHARACTERS OF TITANIUM
Icarus Mars De' Leo
Age: 19
Height: 189.7 cm
Hair: Crimson red
Eyes: Azure blue
Attire: Wears ceremonial purple robes embroidered with golden willow trees, symbols of spiritual wisdom and sacrifice.
Description:
Icarus possesses an arresting presence: tall, graceful, and sharp, featured with a symmetry that gives him an almost divine appearance. His striking red hair and deep blue eyes mark him as someone both set apart and impossible to ignore. Years of spiritual conditioning have left him lean and wiry, with movements that blend both restraint and latent power.
Personality:
Stoic, introspective, and emotionally withdrawn, Icarus was shaped by a lifetime of holy discipline. As the third son of the Pope, he was raised under strict doctrine and denied the freedoms his brothers knew. Though he bears himself with quiet dignity and spiritual gravity, there is a lingering sadness behind his eyes, a shadow left by his mother's death and the feeling that he is more caged relic than living soul.
Icarus constantly questions the foundation of faith that built him. He believes in God, but not necessarily in the church. His inner world is full of conflict, longing for release, for meaning, and for a life not chosen for him. Behind his composed exterior is a young man yearning to be more than a vessel of holy tradition, perhaps even to love.
Felicia Earth Midlane
Age: 18
Height: 165.0 cm
Hair: Midnight black
Eyes: Emerald green
Attire: A regal green gown that reflects her ties to the Earth and hidden power.
Description:
Felicia is a vision of natural beauty, with luminous green eyes and flowing black hair that falls like a shadow behind her. She walks with grace but watches the world like a bird in a golden cage. Her appearance is as enchanting as it is deliberate, born of royal blood, trained to be poised, polished, and perfect.
Personality:
Curious, bold, and imaginative, Felicia hides her loneliness behind charm and warmth. Beneath her royal upbringing lies a girl with secrets in her blood and dreams too large for palace walls. While her title demands obedience and decorum, she secretly studies forbidden texts and watches the stars with yearning.
She's intelligent, emotionally vivid, and deeply empathetic, qualities that both clash with and complete Icarus's quiet detachment. She seeks more than duty: she longs for passion, for truth, for a love strong enough to tear down the barriers of tradition.
Despite her gentleness, there is a fierce will within her. Felicia is not naïve, she knows the dark politics of the court and the ancient bloodlines that whisper of sacrifice and power. She plays the role of the princess, but her soul is that of a storm waiting for the wind to shift.
POWER SYSTEM OF TITANIUM
In the world of Titanium, reality is shaped by two great forces: Mana and Manner.
Mana : The Breath of the World
Mana is a natural, elemental force that exists in all living things and flows through the very fabric of the earth, sky, and sea. It is abundant, yet untamable by most. It fuels magic, enhances the body, and enables supernatural feats such as healing, flight, elemental manipulation, and more.
Source: The world itself, natural elements, the moon, and stars.
Users: Mages, witches, element-lists, mystics.
Accessibility: Rare, only a fraction of the population is born with the affinity to feel or channel Mana.
Nature: Neutral, wild, and governed by will and knowledge.
Usage: Through incantations, rituals, or direct flow based on emotional resonance and study.
Manner : The Voice of the Soul
Manner is a spiritual force that arises from within the soul. It is deeply personal, either Divine or Dark, and it manifests through conviction, devotion, or corruption. Unlike Mana, Manner does not rely on external energy, it is a reflection of one's inner truth, beliefs, and spiritual alignment.
Source: The soul through devotion, grief, rage, love, or spiritual clarity.
Users: Priests, saints, dark cultists, prophets, or chosen vessels.
Accessibility: Extremely rare, often requires spiritual awakening, trauma, or divine selection.
Nature: Polarized, either Divine (healing, miracles, exorcisms) or Dark (curses, soul, binding, necromancy).Usage: Flows from the core of the self. It can influence fate, pierce veils between life and death, and alter perception of time or memory.
Interaction between Mana and Manner
Mana and Manner rarely coexist in the same person, and when they do, conflict often arises. Their union creates phenomena of unprecedented mystery, prophecy, reincarnation, soul resonance. Those who possess both are feared or revered as living miracles… or walking calamities.
Examples in the Story:
Icarus Mars De' Leo wields Divine Manner, inherited through generations of priests and anchored by his sacred training and spiritual suffering. He performs rites, communicates with the divine, and feels the weight of sin and faith more deeply than most.Felicia Earth Midlane is born with an affinity to Mana, specifically the blood, bound Mana of her royal witch ancestry. Her control is intuitive, tied to emotion, and often triggered by longing, joy, or anger, echoing ancient power that was meant to be hidden.
