"Why are you so chatty? All this jabbering! Do you think talking during a fight is impressive? Want me to show you how to eat an apple one-handed?" Ryuji retorted unexpectedly, deliberately provoking Upper Rank Three.
He'd been taunted, so he retaliated verbally.
