Ryuji immediately continued towards the front of the train.
While Ryuji and Tanjiro were rescuing passengers, Kyōjurō Rengoku and Inosuke also awoke from the Blood Demon Art's effects.
Upon waking and finding Ryuji and Tanjiro gone, Kyōjurō Rengoku realized they must be dealing with an emergency.
He couldn't help but berate himself, "To fall asleep during such a crisis! Unbelievable! I'm unworthy of the title of Flame Hashira. I want to disappear!"
"Inosuke, I'll handle rescuing people. Your task is to find the demon's main body on the train and kill it!" Kyōjurō Rengoku immediately instructed Inosuke.
"I know what to do, don't need to tell me! Seriously!" Inosuke grumbled, annoyed at being ordered around.
Inosuke climbed onto the train's roof through a window and, in the open space on top, activated his spatial awareness.
"Beast Breathing, Seventh Form: Spatial Awareness!"
Inosuke crouched on one knee, hands outstretched, activating his senses.
His perception worked like radar, quickly scanning each carriage, finally detecting a suspicious life sign in the locomotive.
"Found it!" Inosuke exclaimed, jumping up and running towards the front of the train.
"Nezuko, stay here and look after everyone else!" Kyōjurō Rengoku instructed Nezuko, who was waking the other team members, showing his trust and recognition of her abilities.
With a sudden burst of speed, Kyōjurō Rengoku shot forward like a bullet, leaving a circular shockwave from the air explosion in his wake. The carriage shook violently, and in the blink of an eye, he vanished from the tenth carriage.
Looking down the carriage aisle, a long trail of fire was burning on the floor. The flames slowly extinguished from where Kyōjurō Rengoku had disappeared.
Tanjiro had reached the seventh carriage when Kyōjurō Rengoku suddenly appeared before him. "Tanjiro, the demon has merged with the train! Go with Inosuke and find the demon's main body!"
"I'll handle rescuing people!"
"Rengoku-san, is Inosuke awake? Where is he now?" Tanjiro asked, relieved to hear Inosuke had also awakened.
With Ryuji and Kyōjurō Rengoku present, the passengers were much safer.
However, Tanjiro was surprised to learn the demon had merged with the train. It explained why the entire train reeked of demon scent.
"Tanjiro, I'm on the roof! But I ain't waiting for you!"
Inosuke's voice and running footsteps echoed from the train's roof.
