Her eyes were staring right at Fen, judging him silently as the man had to look up. – They were sharp, like daggers waiting to be shot right through his soul. – But Althea was just silently judging him with her thoughts.
Fen opened his mouth, perhaps as if to say something, but time was not on his side. – In a flicker of time, Althea moved, her feathers flying in through open windows in mere moments as he wrapped her wing around Fen's neck.
He attempted to move, but it was already too late, he was raised into the air as the wing proceeded to throw him in the direction of the offices... – Or better said, right through the wall into one of them.
The sly fox just stared as his mother just threw the poor immortal through a wall. – No, he wasn't bothered about it happening. – He was bothered by how easily she just did it. Not even a sweat, just lift and THROW. Like he was a popcorn kernel!
The immortal just let out a BIG scream. Not because it hurt, but for the drama of it. – In the end, he was still laughing himself. – Who wouldn't laugh at being thrown through a wall and feeling nothing from it? It was funny!
Even the queen herself gave a small chuckle, her lips curled into a small smile as he proceeded to just walk over back to Tris, patting his head. – Her eyes stuck to the hole she just created... Now she was wondering who would have to fix it.
Fen stretched his arms, getting up from under the rubble, moving pieces of the wall like they were nothing. He had some sort of supernatural strength. Not even bothering to hide it in the end. – He had no reason to hide such.
As he walked out of the rubble, the sly Fox moved forward, his hand moving in a twirling motion as the rubble and dust turned into small white sparkles, forming into strings. – His hand took them softly, forming a small ball of threads. Like one a cat would play with.
And his hand twirled, head hurting lightly. – Doing something he has not done before was harder than just transmuting his Glaive into existence or such things... Not many times does he actually create things. Most of the time, he takes dust and makes it into something.
In the small cases where he does, he makes small intricate things. Due to their importance. – Like a coin, the best example he could give. – His glaive was simply a mundane weapon transmuted into small dust particles stuck to his skin.
For the wall, it was a bit more complicated, but rather simple. – But he had no practice with it, and due to its size, it hurt him quite a bit. – Threads moving forward as he waved his hand into the air, forming a small, hand-held lyre.
The shining sparkles wrapped themselves around its strings. As Tris let out a sharp exhale. – This was the truly hard part. – His fingers moved as the strings were glowing lightly. – Tapping a string with a soft grip.
A sharp pain went through his spine as he clenched his teeth. – Yet the string moved and began to form itself into the right material. – His lyre made it a lot easier, even if it was mundane. Without it, he would not have been able to stand the pain.
And another string was tapped. Another sharp pain through his back, closing his throat a small bit, breathing was becoming heavy. – Yet he did not need to continue anymore. As the energy flowed and the wall was repaired like nothing was wrong.
Althea noticed that almost instantly, and placed her hand on the lyre, pushing it down, her eyes stuck on him. Then, she yanked it out of his hands, holding her grip on it quite forcefully, yet making sure she did not break it.
Tris waved his hand into the air, the Lyre dissipating as he did such. – Without a second tail? He probably would've been out cold on the ground... After all, that's the only reason he was willing to give it a try, to test his limits. – And they were improved quite exponentially.
The coin only did not hurt as much due to how much practice he put into perfecting it, he knew it as much as he knew his glaive. – That was the art of Mastery. – The art Dawn yearned to have so badly...
"You need to know when to stop."
Althea spoke, giving a sigh as the lyre proceeded to dissipate into the air, passing right through her hand. And then, into nothingness. – Her eyes looked the fox up and down, clearly bothered by his actions.
"I'm fine, it takes experience to improve."
The fox answered, his ears flickering lightly as he regained his composure quite swiftly. – He was not one to be bothered too long by his mind being tired. It regained itself back from worse things, illusions of all kinds. He has experience.
Althea went silent, giving another sigh as she listened to his words carefully. – She believed in him, but she also disliked the way he went about things. Too rough. – Too much effort and pain for less gain. It was not worth it.
"He is gonna be fine, let the boy practice whenever he wants. – The fox only practices when he wants anyway. Force him, and he's angry and won't do it at all."
Fen answered, still dusting himself off, even if he was clean. – Just a habit in the end, it made him feel uncomfortable not to do it. – Like invisible dust was still just there on his poor clothing... Which somehow was not torn at all! Lucky.
"You shut up, right now. And by the way. – That is a threat."
Althea spoke, staring right back at Fen with the same look. She was going to pierce every part of his body with celestial blades and burn him. – Even if he couldn't feel and he would laugh. She would be entertained.
The immortal man went silent, simply walking to the side and flicking the statue's forehead... What statue? Rose! She was just sitting and staring, still blocked in her own thoughts. – Flinching the moment she got flicked.
"I am going back to the dorms... I still need to speak with Nora.''
The sly fox spoke lightly, sneaking past and moving towards the door, his features and items dissipating, so as not to arouse any suspicion from those outside. Giving a small, exasperated sigh. – Peculiar family reunion, for sure.
"Mmm, I approve of the girl, take care."
Althea spoke with a small smile as she looked towards him, a grin clearly visible on her face. Awaiting a response. – Yet she was met with just a few, very, very long moments of silence. Pure silence at that, everyone just shut up.
"Denied."
The fox answered blankly, pushing on the door handle, and sliding out the door! He was not going to deal with such a mother attempting to get him with some lady. – He truly was not even interested in a relationship.
Now he was alone on the streets, again. – He took a deep breath, his ears flickering. Starting to slowly walk towards the general direction of the dorms. Stuck once more with his thoughts. Simply him, and his sly fox-like thoughts!
He was slightly bothered about the comment regarding Nora... The fox was already worried about how things would go down when he arrived back at the dorms... And an angel, and a fox with wings! God damn that's something.
Hopefully, she at least won't try to randomly pet him! At worst, she touches his tails and asks about whatever the heck Fuka is... He heavily doubts he could explain a Buki to Nora. She's too energetic to understand something so plain.
The concept of a Buki is both... Complicated and plain at the same time. – It exists as a lost shard of your personality, and then it unifies with you, simply reforming a bond you used to have. Or well, your spirit used to have.
His wings were a prime example. They existed, they always have. – But to some extent, they were taken, for him to become better and obtain, that is the fate of Buki's. To return to the one they have been stripped away from!
The moment he got one back, it felt like it was something he had been missing since forever. – Slightly changing his own core, as such forming what he knew as Soulsong. – It changed his whole plan on his fighting style...
But that was enough talking... Tris found himself in front of the dorm as he sighed heavily, step by step. Moving up and up! Slight regret of his past acts, he should have told Fuka to stay hidden... He should never have shown the fact that he had tails. Now he was going to suffer.
He pressed his hand on the dorm handle, opening the door as he just swiftly stepped in! Praying to every god he could think of to save him from his fate.
