So I just watched Thunderbolts, and here are my thoughts — with light spoilers that don't ruin much:
I loved the movie. It was incredible.
Sentry — the one character I was most worried about because of how strong he is — was portrayed fantastically. I honestly don't know how they'll handle his strength in future movies, but in this one, it worked perfectly.
His interactions with Illyana were amazing too. To be honest, I started shipping them after watching this movie.
Watching this finally made me start loving the MCU again, after all this time. It even inspired me to start working on an MCU fanfiction. I know some of you might complain about how many fanfictions I want to make, but I just have too much creativity and too many ideas I need to write down.
Of course, it won't be 100% based on the MCU — I'll also be adapting some comic arcs and weaving them into the MCU timeline between movies and TV shows.
That's everything I have to say for now.
And yeah, just like everyone expected — they killed off Taskmaster almost immediately. I really hope the real Taskmaster shows up later.
Also, that end credit scene? It was the first great one in a long, long time.
