Chapter 55 - Let's Rock

The air inside the tower shimmered with demonic energy, resonating like a tuning fork struck by a god. Outside, Dante cracked his neck and grinned at the massive, snarling form of Cerberus, the legendary three-headed hellhound, each head dripping with frost, steam, and embers.

Saiya leaned against a toppled column, arms crossed, katana sheathed at her side. Her glowing crimson eyes studied Dante's posture, amused yet mildly irritated. "You going to fight or flirt with the beast all day?"

Dante pulled out Rebellion, twirling the massive sword in his hand before leveling it at the massive beast. "What can I say? I like to make an entrance."

Cerberus's central head snarled. "You… stink of Sparda. I can smell his blood in your veins. What are you?."

"Oh you must be fun at parties. Tell me do you play fetch to?" Dante said with a smile on his face.

That made the Cerberus heads roar in anger. Then Dante charging forward. "Come here boy I'll rub your belly."

The battle erupted with explosive energy of Ice and explosions. Dante leapt, flipped, and weaved between the ice meteors descending from above him. He slide across the frozen floor, firing Ebony and Ivory to chip away at its frost-plated armor. Cerberus's left head then roared and launched a spray of ice shards that towards him.

Dante's boots slid for a moment before he backflipped and landed with style on a ice shard. Using the shards as platforms. Dante jumped from shard to shard, and slashed the left head. In a stylish clean motion the head was decapitated.

Cerberus roared in anger. "I will devour you spawn of Sparda."

Dante smirked. "Show me what you got, Cujo!" Dante charged forward with blinding speed.

Cerberus responded with fury, causing the air to drop ten degrees with a single growl. The right side head breathed blizzard from it's mouth. Dante danced through the snowstorm with ease. He then dashed and pierced rebellion through the right head. It severed from the main body dying on the ground. The center head looking weaker roared loudly. What once sounded like anger sounded more like a dying gasped.

It lunged at Dante with everything it had left. An exchange of bites and blasts filled the air. Dante move with blinding speed. His wounds were healing faster then Cerberus could make them. Dante was striking at weak spots with precision. His movements, while flashy, were methodical, pushing the beast to its limit.

Minutes later the beast looked exhausted an broken. "Your power is strong. You might even be stronger then Sparda was in his prime. Take my power and put it to good use."

Dante nodded. "Okay poochie, nice words but, haven't seen dad since I was a kid. You weren't bad, so if you got power I will take it. But one rule. I run this pack."

Cerberus howled in defeat, ice cracking along its body. Its form shimmered and condensed, forming a glowing blue Devil Arm appeared. A nunchaku, etched with frost and crackling with elemental might.

Dante caught it mid-air. "Now this is cool."

Saiya's Glare and Dante's Instinct. Saiya stepped forward, unimpressed but curious. "Took you long enough. "

Dante twirled the nunchaku effortlessly, flipping it around his back, spinning it with dancer-like precision.

Saiya raised a brow, genuinely intrigued. "How do you know how to use that?"

"I dunno how I know how to use this. It's just… like breathing." Dante said smirking in amazement.

Dante still spinning the weapon. "Jackpot."

Then the sound of an approaching engine roared through the open gate. A stylish crimson motorcycle screeched to a halt as Lady enter and got off it. Her custom rocket launcher slung across her back.

"You two look like hell."

Dante smirked. "Well, well. Look who decided to join to the party. Better late then never."

Lady turned to Saiya. "What's the situation?"

Saiya straightened. "Civilians are cleared from the lower blocks. No sign of Arkham or Vergil. But I smelled them and someone else."

Lady looked confused. "Another devil?"

Saiya shook her head. "One smelled like Dante. The other… was different like a human and devil, probably Arkham. But there's A woman. But not human, not entirely. Her scent is old, and… laced with something I've never encountered."

Lady's expression darkened. "Great. More surprises."

Dante slung Rebellion across his back, and the nunchaku disappeared in his hand. "Well, let's not keep our mystery guests waiting. Any word from Jasen?"

Lady looked at her watch, checking it briefly. "Still en route. ETA… 13 to 24 hours."

Dante gave a half-grin. "Guess that means we get to have all the fun first. Alright ladies, let's rock."

Back on the private jet slicing through the sky en route to Europe, Jasen finished the call with Jessica. The cabin hummed softly as gear was being unpacked.

He looked around at his team.

"Okay, here's the plan. Logan, Laura, you two are on civilian detail. Search, rescue, and neutralize any devils in your path."

Logan grunted in affirmation. "Understood."

Laura smirked. "Got it, boss."

Jasen turned to Alucard, who was calmly sitting. "You and I are going for the tower."

Alucard nodded. "Straight for the eye of the storm. A sound plan. Wish I didn't give my sword to Rodin, but I will make due."

A flight attendant appeared, rolling out two large crates filled with gear. Weapons glinted under the cabin lights. custom firearms with runic engraving, and runic ammunition.

Jasen reached in, pulling out his black scarf, wrapping it around his neck as his black leather jacket swayed open underneath a tactical vest with runic markings . He checked his Beretta, customized with green rune etchings. Equipped a sild combat knife and machete to his back.

Alucard, still calm, adjusted his regular clothes and black coat, and strapped a curved enchanted blade across his side. He glanced towards me.

"Ready?"

Jasen gave a sharp nod. "Always. Let's rock."
