The Choice of Loyalty
He took a step closer. The only sound that was left in the crater was the faint echo of his boots. The crater was really quiet now. He stepped again and the echo of his boots was still the only sound.
The ground beneath him was still warm. It was like the earth was breathing out bits of smoke and magic. The air was thick and hard to breathe. It felt like it was made of metal with soot and blood all mixed together. There was something too something old. It was like the leftover sound of a power that had ripped through this place. The moon was low, in the sky shining down with a light. It made everything look cold and empty like it did not care about what had happened. The moon cast its light on the broken earth. The ground was all. Messed up.
Leon looked at Aden. Aden was the man kneeling in front of him. His body was bent down. He did not fall. Adens armor was. Burned. His hands were shaking.. Aden still had pride inside him. He was just very tired.
