Shadows
The sun leaned closer to the horizon. It was going down slowly with a sound from the wind. The suns golden top was turning, pouring out red colors all over the sky. These colors were spreading out like fingers over the land. The clouds were colored with fire and copper. They looked like sparks that were thrown from a fire in space. They were shaking in the light that was going away. For a short time the whole world seemed to stop moving. The hills were warm the air was still and gentle. It was as if the wind was also holding its breath. The sun was still leaning closer, to the horizon.
It was really beautiful. The scene was very peaceful. This twilight was so calm that it could make even the toughest fighter put down his sword if, for a little while. The twilight was that good.
