Shadows of Kingdom and Blood
The women looked at each other for a time. It was very quiet between them. The room was dark. The lights from the lanterns were not steady. They made the shadows on the walls move around. The women and the lights and everything seemed to be waiting for someone to say something. The women exchanged a glance again. The air in the room felt heavy. The light from the lanterns was shaky. It made the shadows crawl, across the stone walls of the chamber. The light seemed scared of what the women were going to say.
