The Ground Awakens [Part-2]
Then the truth became clear. The land was being covered in shadows like a big wave of darkness that was alive. There were beasts. Not just a few, but hundreds of them all moving together. You could see their teeth, claws and scales shining in the little bit of light that was left and there were so many of them that they were covering the whole earth as they moved forward. The beasts just kept coming. The earth was disappearing under them.
The army was really surprised. People started to say things like "no way" and "this cannot be true". The murmurs in the army turned to cries of disbelief as the news spread. People in the army just did not believe what they were hearing. The murmurs, in the army were now cries of disbelief.
Garys black eyes got really small trying to see everything until what he saw hit him hard. His pupils got all of a sudden. He stopped breathing for a second. Gary understood what was going on.
