She let the words hang before adding with a wink, "Or are you preparing for a far more than seduce ... strategic conquest after the banquet?"
Nova blinked, caught entirely off guard. A small cough escaped her as she tried to recover, but the blush was already blooming across her cheeks.
The laughter that followed from the women was gentle but teasing. Rias brushed her fingertips elegantly over her lips, while another playfully nudged her shoulder.
Leon, standing nearby, arched a brow and took in Nova's flustered expression with quiet amusement.
A slow smile tugged at his lips.
"I wouldn't mind," he murmured, voice low and smooth. "If she did have something planned. Right, my love?"
Nova shot him a sharp glare—pointed, beautiful, and laced with warning. Her lips pursed.
