"…You really are Leon," she whispered.
He leaned his head to one side with a small smile. "The one and only."
There was a rosy flush on her cheeks. But in the next instant, her face scrunched up in angry annoyance. She whirled away sharply, brushing aside the embarrassment as she moved back.
"Idiot… you could've given me a heart attack," she growled. "You're lucky I didn't cleave you in two."
Leon released a low, teasing laugh. "But you didn't. So obviously, you must love me more than I ever thought."
Nova whirled around him theatrically, finger wagging in his face, eyes flashing.
"…Are you crazy, Leon?! That's no laughing matter!" she snarled, her tone changing to one of shock. "What if I hit your neck?! What if I killed you by accident?! What if you weren't able to block in time? Then what?!"
