As soon as the registrar finished registering all of Adam's missions, a lengthy and tedious process that drew the attention of many of the upperclassmen in the hall, he took out a small object from under his desk.
He gave it to Adam. "As soon as your missions are complete," he said, his voice now flat and professional,
"you can hold this crystal forward and save your mission record in this crystal. It will verify your kills and your completed tasks."
Hearing this, Adam looked down at the crystal in his hand.
He saw that it was a red crystal, cut into the shape of a sharp triangle. It felt cool to the touch. Adam took the crystal and started to leave the mission building, his task here completed.
