The forest was unusual.. It was big.. Too big
The trees reached the skies, the roots hugged the earth deep..
Each tree was a palace in itself
Their branches are long, thick..
Their leaves were bigger than people.
The party looked in amusement, intrigued
Sukiro whispered slowly, his head refusing to look away "These trees are.."
"Huge.." sapphire muttered
"I wonder what kind of monsters are here?" sirius wondered
"Humans" Sebastian scoffed

One after another, then another and so on..
Hunters walked in each one an S-rank..
Then a party entered another and another…
They were surrounded by hundreds of S-rank hunters..
The party stood still.. Their faces confused
They knew many S-rankers would gather but not this many…

The ground trembled..
A aura fled through the dozens and dozens of hunters
Something was here

All the hunters turned around to look at what was coming their way..
And they walked in..
The supreme dominion..
The winners for the past fifteen years…
They had never lost…
Their leader.. was..
The strongest hunter..
A path opened between the hunters..
Not because someone told them..
But because it was what they had done for years..
Boots sank into the soil..
Silver hair..
Blue eyes..
His coat hugging his shoulders..
The forest itself listened to them
He looked around..
And then his eyes landed on them
The Emeralds..
A quiet smirk spread across his lips.. "Looks like we have some newbies.."
His eyes looked at sukiro and stopped for a second… he turned his head to the man beside him, the one covered in rags that were ripped but covered him..
"That one… he's strong.. Just like you" he whispered
"You might have some fun here afterall.." he smiled
Hunters clenched their fist
Some swallowed
Some stepped back, not from respect but from fear and instinct..
Yet the emeralds stood still
Everyone felt the tension, they were nervous..
Except sukiro..
Something in him awakened
His eyes locked onto them unwavering
He was hungry..
He smiled as he locked eyes with the leader..
His eyes widened.. He smirked
"You over there.." his voice spoke, making some hunters step back
"You look.. Strong.. I like it" he said with a grin
"You haven't seen anything yet" Sukiro replied, his voice echoing through the forest every hunter felt it..
The king had a challenger, either he was a fool or overconfident
Yet he was neither of them
"See you soon.." the leader said, his gaze looked like a hunter looking at his prey..
The supreme dominion walked into the forest slowly
Sukiro and the others watched them walk away..
"You just challenged the strongest party on the continent" Sebastian muttered
"That's what i like" elijah smirked
"Let them come" Sukiro said, his voice calm.. To calm.. "Let them try"
All of the hunters chattered among themselves looking at the party whispers about sukiro..
Some said he was a fool
Some said he would get himself killed
Most stayed silent
Sukiro cracked his knuckles "let's get going then, the forest won't come to us"
The forest felt.. Dark, ancient
The trees killed the sunlight only a few rays dared to escape and shine upon the soil
It felt as if in any moment something might jump out at them
Yet all of them stayed calm, collected..
CHRIP!!!
A dagger flew towards them cutting the air
Sebastian unsheathed just one of his daggers and deflected it away
Without even looking back
His head slowly turned back..
His gaze made the air toxic, his eyes landed at the hunters at the top of the tress
"Let me handle them, you guys go ahead" he muttered..
Everyone had stood still but now they just walked away..
Sapphire stayed back with him.
"Are you friends that scared of us" one them laughed

"They know that i alone am enough for a bunch like you"
"Let's keep moving towards the tower" klaus said
"We are to hand them the bands at the third day" Sirius grumbled
"We are being followed" Elijah murmured
"I know" sukiro replied
"Since when" klaus questioned
"For the past twenty minutes" sukiro grumbled
"Let me handle them" sirius said his voice heavy
"There's four of them" Elijah side-eyed Sirius
"You think that''s to much for me" sirius questioned
Elijah smirked quietly
Sirius stood still as the others walked away
The hunters looked at him confused…
He turned back..
"Come out you cowards.." he roared, his voice reflected through the tress
"Let's see what you got!"
The hunters jumped down..
They looked like thieves disguised as hunters.. Rags, tattered cloths, cloth covering their faces
STRIKE!!
A dagger collided with the shield
Sirius dug into the earth
SWIPE!!!
Another rushed behind him
Just in the neck of time Sirius shoved his arm against it
He grinded his teeth..
Another strike .. And another.. And another
They struck from everywhere..
Sirius continued to tank it
STRIKE!!
A small cut through his arm..
His eyes were filled with rage

Elsewhere in the forest…
Bodies fell to the ground
Sebastian breathed heavily..
"That was a bunch of them huh.."
"At least we got four bands out of these"
He turned back as he smiled
"It was well worth it then" sapphire replied
"It was.."

"Grgrhh!!!" he shouted
They had started to use skills as well
"All of them are fighters… I am at a huge disadvantage here.. I can't move fast i am basically a rock for them" he thought
