Xu could recognize Xeno's face and Joseph's wrinkles in an instant. It was like yesterday they were playing around in their mansion or huge garden while Joseph was sitting in the shade, taking a sip from his glass of chilled water.
"So this…Is the Land Beneath?" asked Xeno as he looked around the cave.
"Yeah…" replied Xu with a wide smile on his face.
"How did you survive? Did you receive our communications here?" asked Joseph concerned.
"I survived by survival of the fittest. The world down here is much less cramped and free than the world up there. There are people down here like us. The world below is much larger than the small island above us," explained Xu.
"Island? What's that?" asked Xeno.
"It's a land surrounded by water on four sides!" explained Xu.
"It's so hard to believe…If there truly is life down here then what about the previous Kings and Ghosts who fell down here? Are they alive?" asked Xeno.
"No, they're dead. I found all their bodies and accessories around two years back. I barely survived the fall by pure luck," explained Xu.
"Ah, that doesn't matter, what matters is that you're safe," said Joseph, looking around the cave and urging them both to exit the unfamiliar place.
"I received your symbol," said Xu showing it to Xeno.
"Hmm, so you expected us?" asked Joseph.
"I didn't expect to meet you this suddenly. This place is damp and cold, if you have time I shall help you explore this land," offered Xu.
"We would love to but there's not enough time," explained Joseph.
Xu turned to look at Xeno.
"What happened?"
"An issue has appeared, Vladimir died and now there is going to be a war for the throne," explained Xeno.
"You're not the heir to the Clan X's throne though? Wasn't it Xander?" asked Xu.
Eleven Years Ago.
Xu and Xeno sat on a rock or a boulder of sorts cleaning their bloody fists as a crowd surrounded them and the gangsters that had just gotten beaten up bodies on the floor. The normally bustling city center with markets were empty as most of the people were in the crowd. The tan tiles of the ground were tainted with a crimson red.
Joseph came running through the crowd and held both of them.
"What have you done?" asked Joseph as he looked around at the beaten up bodies.
"These goons bullied Xander so we beat them," replied Xu bluntly.
Joseph slapped Xu.
"This is not an ordinary issue Xu! We are honored members of society if they see us do something like this…" scolded Joseph.
Xu was silent as Joseph turned his head to look at Xeno and he walked towards him and slapped him on the face as well.
"What were you doing?" asked Joseph with fire in his eyes.
"I've seen him since he was a kid. Xu got angry. I couldn't stop him. He is my brother as well. I fought them," explained Xeno concisely.
In the present.
"I wonder how much Xu grew mentally…Xeno is holding back his grief and anger but I wonder what will Xu's reaction be to Xander's death," thought Joseph quietly.
"Xander died," said Xeno bluntly.
Xu started to laugh.
"You're joking," said Xu, unable to control his laughter.
The cold silence in the cave gave all the answers Xu needed. He tightened his fists before turning to look at Xeno aggressively.
"Who? Did. It," said Xu.
In the colony of Suchrasis ruled by Clan Destiny, an uninvited visitor showed up. The residential home for King Deoxys was none other than the Astral Palace with its dark black marble walls and white pearl pillars. The front garden was also enormous, having plenty of fountains and plants that all led to a road that led to the entrance of the house. There were many workers tending to the house while Deoxys was taking his usual walk around the region.
A blast of green light cut through the sky with its sharp beam trying to impale Deoxys. However, he quickly dodged the attack and quickly located where it came from. It was far easier than he expected since the only person who would Green Gravity Sorcery is none other than Aldarian.
"Why did you intrude into my quarters? Go back to your colonies," said Deoxys with a calm face.
Deoxys was a calm person who was currently wearing a white robe and walking. His long hair draped to his elbows and it was currently tied up into a ponytail. He was thin yet his core was so strong that no object could move him. His stone cold face was devoid of any emotion and the only thing he cared about was succeeding his goals. Deoxys's sorcery ability was none other than 'Sight Foretelling'. He knows what will happen in the next four seconds precisely and he can rewind time two seconds. He can freeze and speed up time one second.
Aldarian, on the other hand, was a much more ruthless person. He made the military of Northguard City into a powerhouse therefore any outsiders from above or below tried to attack them, they would lose instantly. Any traitors from other clans or assasination attempts he would foil instantly with his brute force. Death by Aldarian was truly a barbaric thing. His strong physique and the body enhancement with two horns connected to his head made him look like a demon. Aldarian's sorcery ability is none other than 'Gravity' it converts the Gravitational Energy that he has into physical attacks such as the Green beam of light. The effects of gravity do not work on him meaning the higher he flies the more stronger his attacks become.
"The agreement made in the hall was a silly idea. Why cannot we just fight it out at the Colosseum, why must innocent bystanders be involved in such matters," asked Aldarian.
"Violence…Is in our DNA if you cannot extract it out of your people you failed as the Clan Head," explained Deoxys.
"Tell me this…If I kill you here would I become King?" asked Aldarian.
"Correct," replied Deoxys.
Aldarian flew high up in the sky and started to rain down green beams of energy straight at Deoxys. He quickly dodged all of the attacks and then punched the ground with such vigor the tiles of the perfect cement broke and flew up. He threw all these pieces amplified with soul energy at Aldarian.
However these attacks were pointless as the tiles could never reach Aldarian high up in the sky. He used his 'Gravity' to make sure that the tiles dropped before reaching him. Aldarian flew down and the Gravitational Potential Energy he had quickly converted into Kinetic energy that he converted into soul energy using this he quickly created a giant ball of unstable energy and rushed towards Deoxys.
As Aldarian reached Deoxys suddenly it felt like time froze for one second and the unstable energy became much more unstable. Then Deoxys disappeared behind Aldarian and then it felt as if time sped up for one second speeding up the unstable energy's collapse.
Then Aldarian quickly threw the ball of unstable energy towards Deoxys and sped it up with his 'Gravity' meaning it hit Deoxys with less friction therefore going faster.
However this attack was futile as Deoxys read four seconds into the future the millisecond that he sped up time by one second therefore he knew this was coming and quickly deflected the attack.
Then Deoxys sped up time for one second and quickly teleported to Aldarian. The time he speeds up is only for himself so the other objects or entities in the world will remain the same. As he tried to land a clean hit on Aldarian, he smirked.
Deoxys's fist hung in the air as he could not move. It was as if an elephant was thrown onto his back.
'Gravity' can also increase the Gravitational Energy acting on others as well. Then Deoxys quickly tried to rewind time by two seconds but somehow that plan failed as well.
"Do you know what's the only thing that can mess with Time and Space?" asked Aldarian.
The answer was Gravity. Gravity could distort Time and Space making Deoxys's technique completely useless. He realised this when he was carrying the beam of unstable energy as Deoxys did not speed up time by one second by 0.89 seconds.
"I won," said Aldarian with a smirk.
He pulled his fist back as all the soul energy he had in his body left him and connected cleanly with Deoxy's body.
Then it seemed as if Aldarian's hands became weak as soon as it touched his body. His hand started to wrinkle as he screamed in pain.
"Time can wither everything and anything," said Deoxys with a smirk as he wriggled free from the effects of 'Gravity'.
