"Is…That Xu?" asked Danso as he glanced at the God of Sages.
The God of Sages was silent before answering.
"I don't know,"
Danso looked back at the child who continued to write his name over and over again. Was it really his name or was it more of a title that he gave himself?
"From the logical memories I still have that deal with language and arithmetics I can tell you that the word Xu derives from Old Lukian and it means 'A warrior with no limits'," explained the God of Sages.
"So what is Xu's real name?" asked Danso.
"I am the God of Sages…I can read fate, manipulate it, create it and destroy it. I am a god. Yet I am the most helpless when it comes to you or him almost as if you both weren't a part of this universe's plan," said the God of Sages solemnly.
Danso knew he had some connection with Xu but he was eager to figure out what it was. He started to try and put the pieces together in his brain.
He was abandoned by his parents who not even the Elders of the Narahara Complex know about.
Xu is connected to his soul via the seals but how did they get in there in the first place?
And last but not least…How is Xu connected to Xeno?
"I would love to answer your questions but I lost my memory," laughed the God of Sages.
Danso shook his head and just forgot the fact that the God of Sages existed for a minute and continued to look at the kid who was writing his 'name' over and over again.
His father had beaten up his mother as well and she ran to Xu as soon as she had withstood all the attacks. She hugged Xu as tightly as she could as she had teary eyes and her gown was fully drenched in sweat and her forehead had droplets of blood scattered.
"Everything will be fine one day you will be a Ghost and you will be a Xu, Alexis," said Martha.
Alexander left the mansion that they were living in and then Xu stayed in his room not moving an inch and his mother also stayed close by holding him in her clutches. Then a tap on the large, filled with water droplets window was heard.
"Alex, Alex?" said a young boy with black hair and yet different facial features than Xu.
His eyes widened as he saw the droplets of blood on Martha's forehead. He slowly picked at the window and opened it discreetly and got inside, drying himself off a towel and his feet on the mat that was below him.
"Xeno…Please leave," pleaded Martha.
"Aunty? What happened," asked Xeno.
Danso's mind started going blurry as it seemed as if he was watching a computer screen glitch. The God of Sages looked like he was going through a similar situation too.
Many scenes quickly started appearing in front of Danso's face, almost like watching a movie at a x5 pace.
Xeno's eyes are red with his fist covered in blood.
Then dead bodies on the floor.
Then multiple people crowding the mansion with sirens blaring on and off with a sound that deafened the ears.
Then a young Xu was taken away somewhere as Xeno reached his hand out but he couldn't grasp Xu's hand.
Xeno's eyes turned from red to a more of a whitish color as Danso knew what this had meant.
"He awakened didn't he?" asked Danso.
"It looks like his ability was Avatar," said the God of Sages.
"For someone to awaken an ability at such a young age along with such a powerful one," envied Danso.
"I can understand what you're trying to say with the right environment he could've been a talent," said the God of Sages.
"But the ability comes from the soul right? Maybe he was always a deceitful liar," said Danso.
"Or maybe he was a young kid with a hole in his heart as big as the world and he didn't know who he was," countered the God of Sages.
"Seeing you this serious makes me worried," said Danso.
The God of Sages laughed.
"It makes myself worry too,"
The scene changed again. This time it was a merry scene as a song of love was being chanted by an opera and a bride walked up to the groom as they stared at each other in true love. Xu was the best man, Yvette was the bride, and Xeno was the groom.
"Ah, to find love such as this these days," joked the God of Sages.
Danso ignored his comment and focused himself on the scene below. He enjoyed a glimpse of happiness as the scene quickly changed into another scene as a child was being born.
Xeno was smiling.
It was a big smile.
A happy smile.
A smile that he had seen when he met Xu up in that mountain.
He looked satisfied.
Danso wondered what made the present Xeno from looking like that to the Xeno he knew now. A transition occurred in Danso's brain whereas the happy Xeno turned around the face of the Xeno he knew now appeared.
The scene quickly changed into a scene that had an atmosphere of tension and arguments. Words were being scattered across the scene as multiple people argued across a big table and in the corner Xeno and Xu were having their own arguments.
Xu slapped Xeno on the face and told him something that caused Xeno to storm off. Yvette held her two dear kids close and closed their eyes and ears. Whatever the argument was it didn't end nicely.
Then the screen glitched as they saw Xu walking in what seemed like an ocean of blood as he looked at the sky and passed out.
A holy square symbol of the Sage.
Four mystical objects.
The truth about the soul and the dimensional ascension.
The Aurora's origin.
Then Danso got kicked out of the realm where he saw things and the God of Sages disappeared almost instantaneously. Danso was thrust into a black space before slowly opening his eyes into the world he was most familiar with. Regular 4th dimension and he was on a bed in the medical hut.
Danso had no time to recollect his thoughts about what he had just witnessed and had no time to organise them. He was greeted by a worried Yvette and Everlin who was standing to the side with the support of a pillar for his back.
"You passed out as soon as you awakened your Third Seal," said Everlin.
"How long did I pass out for?" asked Danso.
"Around a day or so," replied a doctor with blond hair reaching to her shoulders.
"Are you my doctor?" asked Danso.
"Yes my name is Luxia," replied Luxia.
"I appreciate you looking after me," said Danso.
"I've never seen you speak this politely, perhaps you're interested," asked Everlin.
Yvette looked at Danso for a minute before looking at Lukia and then looking at Everlin.
"And since when can you deduce such assumptions?" asked Danso jokingly.
Lukia was bright red but she tried to hide it by focusing on regulating Danso's soul energy output.
"I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, Luxia. Please continue your work," said Everlin.
"And don't worry I think I have someone back in Lukia," winked Danso.
"After Fort Fjord you're going to tell me everything," laughed Yvette.
"Speaking of Fort Fjord…We have to start preparations soon," said Everlin.
"Such as getting to know all the leaders of their specialties and fighting Everlin as a sparring match," said Yvette.
