Ivy's chest felt heavy as she thought of it. She had once believed all of that was only a string of accidents. But now she could see it more clearly. The military had most likely played a hand in everything.
She clenched her fists under the table, hiding her anger. Thinking back… maybe everything had started from the moment Uncle Stephen died. Maybe Ronan hadn't tried to kill him just because of a grudge… but because a mastermind had guided him.
"What was the answer you got after investigating Ronan?" Ivy asked. Her mind was racing, and many events that hadn't been linked before started to connect.
There was once a guy that a military base wanted to recruit, but he wanted to build his own base.
Later military kicked him out, and the guy, having no choice, decided to stay in an enemy base of military base.
Unfortunately, that guy ended up in Black Vultures, and later, during one of the wars, he died. He was a rather talented and powerful superhuman.
