Chapter 147: Stelle: Bronya's My Wife Now, Too?
The exclusively male scent drifted into her gently trembling nose. Her eyelids fluttered briefly, and as they opened, she saw the calmly handsome, somewhat detached face of the gray-haired young man.
His sleeping face was lazy and serene, and what also drew her eye was the beauty on his other side.
Bronya blinked her sleepy eyes, gave a small yawn, then rested her head on the young man's shoulder and closed her eyes once more.
The next moment, she abruptly tried to sit up. The violent movement tugged at the blankets covering the three of them. Noticing this, Bronya immediately stopped.
However, her silver pupils, now in 'eighteen-magnitude earthquake mode,' clearly reflected Bronya's shock and horror.
That gray-haired beauty was her!
What had happened?
Why was Silver Wing here?
Just like someone who'd had too much to drink, Bronya's mind was fragmented, as if she had excessively consumed some substance.
Just then, she sensed movement from the person beside her and immediately closed her eyes, feigning a deep sleep.
She vaguely sensed the person beside her sit up. His gaze seemed to linger on her, and Bronya's heart rate became erratic. She struggled to keep her breathing even, trying to avoid being discovered.
After a long while, she heard a gentle, slightly complex murmur:
"Bronya, you were too impulsive…"
At the same time, Bronya felt a warm palm gently caress her cheek, followed by an even warmer sensation on her lips.
It was just a brief touch of lips, but the feeling it gave Bronya was entirely different from the intertwined lips and tongues of last night. Her heart even fluttered for a moment.
Bronya fought to maintain her composure, continuing to feign sleep. She wasn't sure how she would face Caelus.
The gray-haired young man carefully and quietly extricated himself from between the two twin-like gray-haired beauties. Then, Bronya heard the rustle of clothes, followed by barely audible footsteps.
Caelus didn't get ready in his own room; instead, he headed to Stelle's. As for Stelle?
Last night, Little Seele had found a way to trick Stelle out. Before Bronya even began, Caelus had already made meticulous arrangements for the Stellaron Spirit, creating an opportunity for Bronya to 'ambush herself'.
He figured Stelle would be 'killing her way back' soon enough.
Only after hearing the soft click of the door and the footsteps completely fade away did Bronya laboriously switch her 'manual breathing' back to 'automatic'.
She cautiously opened her eyes just a slit. Only after confirming Caelus had truly left the room did she sigh in relief and slowly sit up.
The blankets slipped from her body with her movement, revealing tattered black fabric and large swathes of her pristine, jade-like skin.
The lingering marks on it, damp and scented, struck Bronya's brain like a sledgehammer.
The blow repeatedly hammered open the floodgates of her memory, bringing countless images flashing back into her mind.
Bronya's expression instantly froze, her delicate body trembling as beads of fragrant sweat appeared.
Fully awake and with all memories flooding back, her legs felt even weaker than they had last night!
Yes.
She had done that.
Not only had she done it, but she had been the one to initiate it.
The extreme exhaustion from working all night, combined with a comfortable warmth that enveloped her brain, brought complete relaxation. It was as if a machine that had been running continuously for ages had suddenly stopped, yet continued to operate on inertia.
This had caused Bronya to barely think at all, almost entirely following the methods Silver Wing had taught her.
She admitted those poses and actions had been very effective. Bronya had physically felt Caelus's arousal because of her.
But…
The memories of the night replayed in her mind.
Aaaaaaaah!
Sitting stiffly on the bed like a delicate doll, Bronya felt as if ten thousand marmots were screaming simultaneously inside her mind.
That wasn't her!
The woman in those memories was absolutely not her!
Even just recalling a sliver of her actions last night, Bronya felt as if her heart and brain were about to explode simultaneously.
Her brain was boiling!
This was why she dared not face Caelus.
With her eyes closed, tightly clutching her forehead, Bronya's pretty face was etched with immense pain.
She couldn't believe that such a shameless woman was actually herself!
If Caelus hadn't left the room, Bronya would absolutely not have dared to open her eyes.
"What are you thinking about?"
The sudden sound of a charming, milky voice made Bronya jump, and she snapped her eyes open.
She then saw the gray-haired beauty, whose face was identical to hers, looking at her with bright, sparkling eyes.
"Silver Wing!"
Bronya let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding. She was already drenched in sweat, but then she quickly realized something, speaking with an incredibly complex tone:
"Why did you do this?"
She was, of course, referring to Silver Wing's act of joining the 'battle' halfway through last night.
"This responsibility clearly had nothing to do with you."
This was a duty she, as Grand Guardian, needed to fulfill.
"I don't think so. After all, I was the one who used underhanded methods to force Caelus to accept this engagement. Even if I'm not the true Grand Guardian, I was still the instigator, so I have a part in this."
Silver Wing sat up, meeting Bronya's gaze with a relieved look, as if she had finally made amends for her guilt.
Of course, this was just a facade.
In reality, she was also recalling last night: Bronya trying to suppress her shyness yet stubbornly enduring. The contrasting cuteness that brought was truly overwhelming; no one could resist a girl who looked like that.
At first, Caelus was completely in a state of passive enjoyment. What a fresh experience~!
To be honest, Silver Wing hadn't expected Bronya to actually initiate those actions.
Sensing the emotion and determination in Silver Wing's eyes, Bronya understood that the other, like herself, felt guilty for using underhanded methods against Caelus.
Bronya naturally understood the desire to make it up to Caelus.
"Or are you saying you mind being with me?" Silver Wing's expression was a mix of hurt and teasing.
"No, it's not that."
Bronya bit her lower lip with her pearly teeth, looking at Silver Wing, her gaze carefully avoiding the parts that had been intimately involved.
She understood Silver Wing's mindset. If it were any other woman, she might have had some thoughts, but if it was Silver Wing, while strange, she definitely didn't mind.
The problem was…
The most important problem was…
Why are you so skilled!?
Recalling Silver Wing's guidance from last night, Bronya's mind exploded in a chain reaction again, remembering herself and Silver Wing intertwined in various positions…
Seeing the ample curves of Silver Wing's chest, a full size larger than her own, Bronya recalled more scenes from last night. She immediately grabbed the blankets and buried half her body and head.
Like an ostrich burying its head in the sand.
Watching Bronya frantically try to escape reality, a flicker of mirth flashed in Silver Wing's eyes. Helping Bronya shake off this mindset would be easy.
"Bronya, you should probably think about how to explain this to everyone. I don't think Caelus has told them about the engagement yet."
"Huh?"
She abruptly lifted her head from the blankets, Bronya's composure shattering once more. She wanted to cry but had no tears left.
Caelus, who had first passively enjoyed, then spent half the night playing a 'duck-stacking game' (a game of intimate intertwining), was naturally refreshed and invigorated.
"Heh-ya~ The sun must have risen from the west today. Caelus, you're actually up so early."
A vibrant voice, as energetic as ever, came from the stairs. The youthful and beautiful March 7th skipped down, her long, fair legs bouncing with each step.
She pulled out a chair from under the dining table and sat opposite Caelus. March 7th interlaced her fingers, palms facing out, and stretched them gracefully over her head, letting out a lovely yawn.
Then, she looked at Caelus with her beautiful pink-blue eyes that seemed to speak.
"Occasionally, I have to breathe the fresh morning air of Belobog, don't I?"
Caelus easily understood the meaning in her eyes. He snapped his fingers, and a dozen or so dark figures immediately appeared around March 7th.
Several began serving March 7th her breakfast, while the others, carrying cleaning tools, headed towards March 7th's room.
"Oh, right, where's Stelle? Isn't she up yet?"
Biting into the food brought to her mouth, March 7th asked indistinctly.
She had, for the most part, come to terms with the fact that Stelle and Caelus often slept in the same bed.
However, the relentless teasing and playful bickering between the two made March 7th somewhat unsure about their relationship: Had they truly taken that 'one step' yet?
March 7th wasn't comfortable prying into such matters, but the two usually woke up almost at the same time.
"Stelle, huh? No idea where she ran off to."
Caelus instructed the dark figures to continue cooking.
If nothing unexpected happened, Stelle was probably in the Underworld right now… no, wait, on her way 'killing her way back' from the Underworld.
Seele's method of tricking Stelle was simple: it was probably the golden gleam of a treasure chest.
Recently, she had been helping Big Seele in the Underworld and had found a few overlooked treasure chests, leaving one as bait.
The gray-haired little raccoon bit the bait without hesitation. Last night, she had quietly snuck away to the Underworld with Seele.
"Hmm?"
Gradually accustomed to being served meals by the dark figures, March 7th slightly stuck out her tongue and licked her lips. The dark figure holding milk immediately fed it to her.
After taking a sip, March 7th blinked in confusion.
Stelle ran off?
A bit surprising, but only a little.
"Then why did you prepare so much breakfast?"
March 7th glanced at the breakfast on the table, which was clearly more than enough for three.
"Because there are others."
"Good morning, Miss March 7th."
A voice with a very distinctive 'milky' quality came, making March 7th stop chewing her food and stare blankly at the two gray-haired beauties walking out of Caelus's room.
"Bro— Bronya?"
How could Bronya be here?
Or had both of them come over?
And walking out of Caelus's room so early in the morning, one of them had a strange expression: awkward, shy, mortified, drenched in sweat…
A strange atmosphere permeated the air.
What was going on?
A bewildered March 7th looked at Caelus with her expressive eyes.
"It's like this, Miss March."
Silver Wing spoke before Caelus could. It wasn't appropriate for Caelus to explain this matter.
Bronya, in her capacity as Grand Guardian, has entered into an engagement with Caelus."
Oh! March 7th immediately spat out her food.
"Hahaha? An engagement! Bronya is my wife too!?"
With a bang, the door was hammered open, and a disheveled gray-haired figure, clutching a lance, stormed in like a whirlwind.
