"What are you waiting for? Complete the ritual." King Killian commanded and the witch sprang up and did just that.
She circled Beta Gareth's corpse with a few leaves and beads as she began chanting some spells. Her eyes were closed, hands stretched over Gareth's body.
She opened her eyes almost immediately and announced with a smile. "I can save Beta Gareth even after casting Ruko's spirit from his body. He is going to leave."
"Lucky him." King Killian simply replied. He watched the witch do her thing while he subconsciously began rubbing Elena's back to make sure she was fine. She was still on top of his strong shoulder like a lifeless toy. She literally weighed nothing to King Killian though.
