Aiden stepped forward, heading to the old man who lay dying on the ground. There was no hope for him to survive, the wound on his stomach was fatal and impossible to recover from.
"Father!" a man shouted from behind, moving closer to the Village Chief's body.
He turned around, pointing his spear at the man, making him stop in his steps.
"Don't come any closer!" threatened Aiden.
"What the hell are you? You killed my father, how can I stand by?!" he snapped.
"You want to fight me?" Aiden asked, challenging them.
They looked frightened, for despite Aiden's terrifying strength, none of the chief's family members were good at martial arts or magic.
Slowly, all the black monsters ran away from the village after knowing their master was dead. Thousands of undead collapsed and crumbled into ashes.
Aurora watched the scene, then smiled broadly when she realized Aiden had been able to stop the terror.
"Aiden must have killed that old man."
