Fact and Crack

The Empire?

What exactly is the Empire?

The Empire is the primary setting and the starting point of this novel.

Its official name is The Greater Empire, but in truth, it goes by many different names depending on who is speaking.

Some call it simply the Empire,

Others refer to it as the Southern Empire,

And some even call it the Empire of the Sun.

The Empire was founded approximately 150 to 200 years ago, though no one truly knows the exact date.

It was established by the Rhenium Clan, the strongest bloodline to survive the Age of Darkness.

If we compare it to the real world, the Empire's territory might be roughly equivalent to the size of Africa.

Impressive, right? But even then, the Empire covers only about 30% of the total area of the Supercontinent.

The remaining 70%—the vast majority—is now overrun by a territory known as Fallen Heaven.

---

Fallen Heaven

Fallen Heaven is the name given to the monstrous, cursed region of the Supercontinent that has fallen into the hands of those creatures.

Its scale is beyond comprehension, and its reconquest is considered nearly impossible.

The entities that dwell within Fallen Heaven are extremely dangerous, ranging from towering Monsters to intelligent, mutated beasts.

The only thing saving humanity from complete annihilation is a massive natural boundary called the Line of Eve, a colossal tree formation that divides the two worlds and prevents the monsters from advancing further into human lands.

---

Warriors

Warriors are individuals who stake their lives by venturing into Fallen Heaven.

After the death of Tsar the Conqueror, the Empire initiated a Campaign called the Age of Conquest.

Its goal was simple: expand the Empire's domain by reclaiming parts of Fallen Heaven and making them habitable for humans once more.

To achieve this, the Empire relied on its bravest fighters—Warriors.

However, the project didn't go as planned.

Many of the Warriors grew too powerful. Rather than continue working under the Empire's rule, the strongest ten among them broke away and formed their own territories within Fallen Heaven.

These ten are known as the All Stars—the mightiest Warriors alive—and their independence has caused the expansion project to grind to a halt.

Now, the Empire stands divided—not just against the monsters of Fallen Heaven, but also against its own weapon.
